Lovely meal at the Golden Lion. The food was really good and well presented. The staff were lovely and catered for all our needs. Nothing was any trouble. I have been to the Golden Lion several times and have never been disappointed. Well worth a visit. Hood value for money.

The waitress couldn't have been more helpful and offered alternative suggestions and arranged for my wife to have a vegetarian enchilada which was excellent. The service was great throughout and it's a lovely restaurant and we'll be back again.

However, we did ask a server what flavour of teas you had and she said she would find out and get back to us. . she never did. The server that brought us our drinks found out what teas you had and we selected from him. We ordered the roast seafood platter to share, 2 different salads and one parmesan chips. Everything was delicious - fish was advertised as caught that day - and you could tell. It was cooked in butter, herbs and garlic - I can taste it still! The staff are excellent - pleasant, attentive, informative but also give you space to crack and munch your way through the delightful offerings - when my husband bent a lobster cracker it was replaced with a smile. Wonderful setting, food and experience - don't miss it if in Tobermory
