Bit disappointed with our xmas lunch, food was ok but nothing to write home about for the price. Service was fine.

What an amazing stay in a beautiful hotel. Situated in the middle of town with a car park behind which you access just before Specsavers. The hotel is beautiful inside, rooms are lovely and clean and the beds are so comfy. The staff are amazing and very helpful. Pub has a great atmosphere and the restaurant is big and beautiful. Breakfast ranges from cereal, fruit, yoghurt, hot foods. Great fry up. We booked Cronies for dinner and it was delicious abd very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you all

Beautifully decorated cafe with lovely friendly staff. I love that there are separate vegan menus for breakfast and lunch. The cozy bowl (porridge) was absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be returning again.

Visited the restaurant last night with my friend after finding out by word of mouth that it had reopened, and it did not disappoint one bit. Good was tasty, staff polite and attentive. And it very reasonably price. Will definitely be visiting again.

Booked online but when we arrived they weren't aware of booking. It appears they do a half price on mains on a Wed (we weren't aware) and they don't normally take bookings. Actually felt a bit unwelcome as it took ages for someone to sit us at a table. On the whole, mist admit, we found the staff a bit slow and not quite interested in us being there. Shame as the food was excellent. Not sure we will go back.

Lunch with my Mum Warm reception from staff. Clean restaurant and tables attentive staff. Steak pie was delicious well presented good portions. The beef tenderly cooked. Comes with green beans broccoli and roast potato’s. Proper Scottish steak pie. Proper old school hospitality and restaurant. Just Great location in Stirling. Enjoyed so much thank you.

Had a lovely lunch at Cafe Neuk. Really nice foccacia sandwich and cupcake. Excellent coffee too. My friend who is gluten free enjoyed having several items to choose from. Great to be able to book a table online. I will be back.

Loved the food and generous portions too. High tea is a fantastic Scottish tradition that I will be taking advantage of more frequently. We had a great time at The Golden Lion!

Table for two for dinner - good service, good food and wine. Restaurant nicely decorated for Christmas, good atmosphere. Very enjoyable evening.

Food was good but delayed due to a private function. Waiter's attitude left a lot to be desired. No interaction at all.

Booked online in the afternoon for a 6pm meal for 4 of us. Booking system can't be great as the people handling the actual service didn't have a note of our booking. Thankfully they had space for us. Meal and service was great, thoroughly recommend the Balmoral Chicken, and the Steak Pie. Lovely place, and the waiting staff checked in on us at various points to make sure everything was OK, and to offer drinks etc.
