First time trying the sunday carvery, plenty of meat and fabulous selection of veg. On my list of places to revisit

Saturday dinner for visitors to the area: great to see a very different menu. All dishes were executed well by the kitchen - loved the wild boar pate, generously portioned pie and the venison dishes were flavourful, Desserts did not disappoint. Good ale to accompany our meal. Service from friendly, smiling staff was excellent. I also like that they do not automatically add "service charge" leaving customers to decide. We left well fed and ready for the walk back to Seaton. We would definitely eat here again were we to return to the area.

The carvery was very good with plenty of choice. It was very busy and that made the service very slow.

The meal and the service were excellent. We call in for a drink quite often but this is the first time we have tried the carvery, it won’t be the last time. We highly recommend this, thank you for an excellent experience.

On arrival, courteous young man showed us to our table . Drinks were served quickly. Order taken..food arrived soon after. It was piping hot . Staff checked if we needed any further sauces etc. Attentive staff but not intrusive. Marked the food down slightly ..due to fish batter slightly soggy and petite pois were hard.

Great team who were attentive and helpful. Food was great and welcome after a full day travelling. The young staff members are a credit to you.

Four for weekday evening meal, we all enjoyed our food, service and servers excellent, live locally and take friends when they visit. Pub has a nice atmosphere and lovely garden.

Excellent Sunday carvery, table service to start with, drinks order arrives and you are given a ticket to hand in at the carvery, very efficient friendly staff, excellent quality of meats, you get the choice of 2 meats from the offering of Turkey, Beef, Gammon and Pork, endless amounts of vegetables to choose from too! We are local and will definitely be going back for more!

Visited for mid-week lunch. Warmly greeted by staff who were attentive throughout our visit. The pan-fried sea bass was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Have been coming to The Harbour for many years and never has it been in better hands.

Having run pubs with carvery myself I have to say it was an absolute fantastic service. Credit where it is due and I'm very critical when it comes to pubs and service. The staff are a Credit to you polite and courteous and nothing was too much trouble . Despite it being busy they never faltered once . We are local and will without a doubt be back . Little bit chaotic on arrival but that was very quickly resolved by the excellent staff ( think they are going to refine their on line booking times ) Food and service were excellent,

Disappointed with starters didn’t have what we requested. Steak came with salad? What’s wrong with the mushrooms peas tomatoes with a steak. £24 for that. Over priced on starters. Quick service but not a great experience. Chicken all you can eat looked good will go for that next time.

We had hi hopes from the web site but sadly was not the case when arrived The pub was empty bar man ignored us with no one else to serve eventually some one else came and led us to our table took ages for some one to take our order and waited over an hour to be served bearing in mind there was only one other couple there who were also waiting when the food did arrive the lobster was over cooked and just a mosh with no flavour except was overpowered with vinegar my wife’s hake was also just a mosh and seemed to have been micro waved with no flavour at all. We didn’t bother with the deserts very dissatisfied would not recommend
