Beautiful place to eat. Food was excellent as was the atmosphere and service. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Would definitely come back.

Stayed here one night earlier this week as part of a cycling holiday. Nothing too much trouble for the hosts. Clean and comfortable room. Can’t fault our evening meal (and never had Bowlands Bumble beer before - lovely). and following morning breakfast. Great sausages and bacon. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

3 of us came for a meal. We were welcomed immediately and made to feel right at home. The food was excellent, piping hot on warm plates. From starters to dessert the food was amazing. Service was excellent.

Good food and plenty of options for GF, Vegetarian and Vegan diners. Highly recommend.

I've stayed here a couple of times and had their 8oz sirloin steak with trimmings most nights! it’s the best I’ve had, When staying in settle The Craven Arms has by far the nicest rooms and food compared to other places. Their breakfasts are also great.

Lovely meal and attentive service, as always, nothing else to say. Highly recommended.

We ate here twice during our hoilday, Sunday lunch and during the week. Both meals were very good and good value for money, service was excellent and the staff were friendly and polite. Good ale. Would recommend this pub.

Food was excellent, I had pork my husband had lamb. He thought that there could’ve been a bit more lamb. The service was a bit slow, with a 45 minute wait for our mains. The bill arrived quickly but then they didn’t come for the money.

We ordered the fish pie and the burger topped with bacon and cheese. The order took over 30 minutes to arrive despite there being only 2 other tables occupied. The fish pie was very good, but the vegetables were a little cold. The burger sadly was not good, it was burnt on the outside, bone dry inside and the brioche bun was also so dry that the top was flaking. There wasn't even a salad garnish to moisten things a little. On the plus side, the staff are friendly and chatty and it wouldn't stop us going again. Just won't order a burger.
