Enjoyable stay, me and my friend visited after completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks, we had made a reservation for food and had also booked a room for the night. The staff were very friendly and the food was great, lovely hearty food just after a big hike, I had the steak, cooked very well. A lovely cosy restaurant with views of lovely Yorkshire greenery. Breakfast was also great, a good selection of hot and cold food and endless juices and coffees. Would recommend a visit.

Stayed and ate at Craven Arms while on a 2 day cycling tour with my adult son. Lovely food, reasonably priced, with excellent whisky range. Good breakfast too. Very helpful staff. Try to avoid staying on the A65 side of the building - with windows open on a hot night was noisy.

Excellent meal - staff attentive, efficient and friendly. Food was high quality and so much better than your average pub food.

A lovely dinner at the Craven Arms while staying at my parents’ caravan in Bentham. The service was good throughout and there was a really warm, welcoming atmosphere. We started with the chicken wings from the specials, which were delicious, before both going for the pulled beef take on a Wellington - a really tasty twist on a classic and something a little different. We finished with the sticky toffee pudding, which was a great dessert: not too filling and served with a lovely sauce. Great food, friendly service and a lovely place for an evening meal.

Booked for a Friday evening in the dog friendly section, food was amazing, 3 of us had starters and mains and one had dessert, not one complaint about any of the dishes, all simply delicious. The weather was nice so we retired to the beer garden which was clean and modern and suitable for kids. Would thoroughly recommend.

When I booked a table for four people for lunch I mentioned two were vegans. The menu offered an innovative choice for meat eaters and vegans and the food served was delicious. Many thanks for a delightful meal served in an attractive restaurant in beautiful countryside.

Not overly impressed. My wife had the salad. Very expensive for what he got. Tiny pieces of pear. I specifically ordered the beef and horseradish baguette. The waiter asked if I wanted it warm. I said yes so was given a completely different dish! Beef with gravy. Unfortunately I didn't realise until I ate some of it. Why ask me if I wanted it warm if that was going to change by actual order!

We thoroughly enjoyed all our choices of food, one of our party is a celiac and said the ceasar chicken salad was delicious. I loved the pulled beef and my partner quickly cleared his plate and enjoyed his beefburger. Highly recommend, staff were lovely.

As always the food was far and beyond our expections

Visited during heat wave. The room was light, airy and well ventilated and mercifully cool after a scorching day. Excellent choice of food served beautifully. On an 8 day tour eating out each night. We rated this our best meal of the trip and not expensive.

Fabulous food. Sooooo tasty and well presented. Staff were super friendly. Will defo be back!

Second time here, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We had three different roasts, and each of us really enjoyed our meals. The Yorkshire puds are so big they have their own postcode. Staff were super helpful and very nice. Sticky toffee is lovely. Reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful meal as always. Plenty of choice if not wanting traditional Sunday lunch. Staff are very efficient and friendly. The landlady is always chatty and friendly as well as keeping an eye on the detail.
