We visited the pub on a Saturday evening. The food was very nice but there just wasn't enough of it. My partner ordered the Pulled Beef Wellington which was not that big, but his herb roast potatoes were 2 very small quartered potatoes and a to complete the meal he had a few green beans. I had Miso coated salmon which was very nice and a decent size accompanied by a small portion of pak Choi and rice. The service and staff were very goid

Lovely lunch with friends. Good food and I appreciated that some choices came with a “small plate” option. Friendly and efficient staff. Will definitely be going again

We had a lovely evening in pleasant surroundings with friendly and attentive staff. The menu was excellent; some different dishes, but not pretentious. The 4 of us really enjoyed our meal and were pleased we’d googled ‘good places to eat near Settle!’ We would definitely return if holidaying again in this area.

The Craven Arms is a good meeting point for us. The menu is creative with good options for smaller portions or combinations and is well cooked and served. Service is attentive without being over familiar. Highly recommend

Superb Sunday lunch. Lamb shoulder with minty gravy was tender and tasty. The pork was a similar standard with crispy crackling. The roast potatoes were crispy outside and fluffy inside and the veg all perfectly cooked. All served promptly by the friendly staff.

Wonderful!! The Craven Arms is superb, with extremely friendly hosts and is in a great location close to two railway stations and a short walk into Settle town. The atmosphere is fantastic, it has a really homely feel to it, casual and friendly with the public areas as spotless as the rooms. The rooms have sumptuous beds, so comfy and are well equipped. We dined in the restaurant and the food was superb, we appreciated having been advised to book. All in all we highly recommend it and will definitely return 10/10

Sunday so mainly Sunday lunch menu but always a couple of different dishes extra to normal menu. Really good service , excellent meal and divine desert.

A little disappointed on arrival to be told that our booking had been "rubbed out" in the diary. Offered a table that wasn't suitable for two adults, but on request we were able to move to a more suitable table. Following these initial issues, we were served very nice food and drink by very polite and helpful staff. We will return.

Very good, just as it should be

We really enjoyed our visit and our meal. The staff we're all jolly and really helpful. The service was warm, lovely and really quick. We had a delightful drink in the beer garden, ordered and then came in to eat. The food arrived quickly, it was enjoyable and two empty plates cleared quickly. Big thanks to all the team.

We have had two meals at the Craven Arms. My Husband had the Sunday lunch with the largest Yorkshire pudding Ive ever seen and he said the roast beef melted in his mouth. I had the roasted Salmon and prawns again it was cooked perfectly and so tasty. The Lamb and the burger on our second meal again was delicious. The staff were so friendly at breakfast and in the evening . The views are amazingly .

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The food was beautifully presented and really tasty. The dining room was smart and comfortable with lovely views. My husband was delighted with the whiskey menu! One of the highlights was the staff - everyone was friendly and attentive, which made us feel very welcome. A bonus was that the pub is only a few minutes' walk from Giggleswick train station. We'll definately be returning!

We love this place. The food is excellent. Served fresh and beautifully cooked. Great steak and Wellington. Our fiends loved the lamb koftas. Excellent service and a relaxed atmosphere. Well done! Don’t change!
