Had a lovely stay at the Craven Arms including their diner. Nice, warm setting. Lovely food, great atmosphere.

Was staying in the area with my wife and we booked for Sunday lunch. Could not fault the place, food was excellent and the staff were very attentive despite it being a very busy lunchtime.

Always assured of a warm welcome, great service and very good food. Highly recommended.

The Craven Arms has been a reasonably regular lunch time place for our little group of friends. We liked it for its good honest food offering. Since our last time the menu has changed and has gone all funky! Also one of our group thought his food was over cooked. Has the chef changed? Our group has decided as the menu is at present we will not be returning. Sadly we will have to look for another venue.

We really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner as guests at the hotel. The food was delicious, beautifully cooked and very reasonably priced for the quality. We certainly look forward to eating here again. Compliments to the chef!

Lovely meal and excellent service. We had a selection from the Sunday menu including a Roast, two burgers and gammon and all were excellent. Very reasonably priced compared to some other restaurants in the area. It was nice to see they are not following the current trend of adding a service charge but leaving it to the individual. Would definitely recommend

Had a beautiful Sunday lunch. I had the beef and my partner the lamb. Beef and veg cooked to perfection and my partner said her lamb was the best she ever had ! Had to eat in the bar as we had the dog but had a nice atmosphere and a great selection of ales. Would definitely return and recommend!
