Punjab Terrace Balti – BridgnorthSunday 13 sept 13.10 hours. Sunday dinner was good but the veg was a bit hard. The pudding I did not enjoy. The service from behind the bar was very poor the barman was in the bar and not looking out for people in the dining room. The pub was nice and clean.
Coracle Tavern – ShrewsburyHaving visited the Golden Moments on many man occasions I can honestly say that their food is by far the best of any Indian restaurant that I have ever visited. Their service is excellent, the waiters are not imposing but a glance and they are at your side to see to your needs without having to attract attention. The meals are excellently presented and very tasty with their dishes being superbly spiced and very distinct in taste.I always take my visitors (from many countries) there and have never been disappointed.
The Golden Moments – LudlowThank you for smashing steaks again so succulent where do you get them from. We will see you next week .DH
Royal Oak Inn – OswestryWe went to Royal Oak on Monday evening. Lovely sirloin steaks lovely staff We will be going again soon.
Royal Oak Inn – OswestryHaving experienced an atrocious meal this past weekend I will definitely not be returning to Golden Moments. Ludlow has so much to offer in terms of quality food, however this restaurant is a real let down for the town. Myself and my partner found the staff to be very rude and quite obnoxious on occasions. Further to that we had to wait a considerable amount of time to be seated for a table we had booked a couple of weeks in advance. This may have had something to do with a larger party that they were trying to squeeze in. The food was nothing amazing and definitely does not live up to the hype and illusions of grandeur that the owners seem to have of it. It is tasty- but nothing more than your average curry that you could happily find in any town throughout Great Britain. In addition the prices were far too high and moving the dining chairs made it feel like you were skating on ice. I regret not looking at this website before visiting.
The Golden Moments – LudlowExcellent food & good friendly service. I will have no hesitation to recommend ;)
Bistro Jacques – ShrewsburyA party of nine went tues 6th oct for our friends birthday. Our waiter, ( Tim ) was excellent, he made the birthday girl feel really special. I must add I'm really fussy about my steaks, but it was cooked to perfection, just the way I asked it to be done. The chef (Tom) even came out to see if it was cooked to my liking. The service and the food were outstanding, and it's the best restaurant I've been to in a long time. The staff need a big pat on the back.
Bistro Jacques – ShrewsburyExcellent the staff were very friendly and helpful espcially LucyThank you
Hole In The Wall – ShrewsburyAte at Brooks last night and was very disappointed with the food and the service. prices are sky high average food and two members of our party were feeling ill in the everning. We will not be going back there again and the evening was a disaster

Himalaya Tandoori Restaurant – BridgnorthI had a meal recently at the wingfield arms this is not the first meal that we have had at the pub. We are quite regular there. We always have a great meal. We always enjoy our food and the atmosphere. There is a great local community feel to the place. There Is a lovely walk near the to walk off the large portion sizes. The food is very reasonable priced and a fantastic price!!! Would recommend to both friends and family!
Wingfield Arms – Shrewsburymy family and i have recently had a meal at the wingfield arms. we were greeted by very polite and helpful staff who showed us to our table. we were informed there would be a wait of 30 mins on food as they were catering for a large party in their main function room. we didn't mind this at all we were shown the menu and i was surprised on the amount of choice and the cost of very thing. (very good quality food for a reasonable price). i had ordered the steak which came with a steak dressing chips and veg. it was cooked to perfection. the portion size were on the large side but i didn't mind that one little bit. we all had dessert which was presently beautifully. the whole meal we felt very looked after by the staff and once we were relaxing after food the chef came out of the kitchen to chat to us and see if everything was okay. we felt that this was a great personal touch. we have recommended to friends already and we will be returning very soon!!!!!!
Wingfield Arms – ShrewsburyI have been to the Wingfield Arms recently for carvery. The food was all homemade and the beef was so tender, all the veg was cooked to perfection and tasted very fresh. The gravy was out of this world with amazing flavours coming through.we received fantastic service from the waiting on staff. all staff members served with a smile and were very polite and friendly. we also had a desert i personally had the cheese cake which was also homemade and was beautiful. cost was very reasonable and we will all be going back soon over the Christmas period.
Wingfield Arms – ShrewsburyI have recently eaten at the Wingfield Arms with a group of friends and think it is one of the best pubs for food in the area! Set just outside the main town it has a beautiful and well kept beer garden with somewhere safe and away from the road for children to play. The staff were all very friendly and attentive and the food was great! Servings were generous and the bill was nice and low. Couldn't believe what a bargain it was! Will be recommending to friends and family and will be back ourselves to visit to try a Sunday Carvery very soon!
