Sunday lunch was good, the beef was overcooked and would have preferred to add my own gravy. It was a cold January day and the restaurant was cold too. My partner had to eat with her coat on - not acceptable for a premium experience. The staff were lovely, smiles and engaging conversation.

The Maypole – SkiptonWe were slightly disappointed with our New Years Eve meal. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Although some areas needed a little TLC. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Sadly the service was very slow, even though it wasn't overly busy. The food when it arrived was very good. I can highly recommend the French Onion Soup. We ordered coffees which were forgotten, so we left without. Worth a visit if these problems are ironed out.
