A wonderful meal , good food and very well looked after

Really enjoyed our meal at Oakley's. Restaurant was fairly quiet so maybe lacked a bit of atmosphere. Weather was miserable so other people away. Our waitress was lovely, sorry I didn’t get her name. Young lady with long dark hair. If we visit Skipton again, we will return.

After walking past the entrance many times and saying to ourselves “we must try this place “ we finally booked for Sunday afternoon with our daughter. The welcome was friendly and we were seated quickly, a jug of chilled water was delivered to our table without being asked for and a drinks order was taken. The waiting staff although quite young were very good polite. We ordered French onion soup, Garlic mushrooms and the Filey Crab for starters, then Pork, Chicken and the Seafood Money Bags for mains all of which were excellent. At the end of our main courses we were so full none of us were able to manage a dessert. We spoke briefly to the owner before we left and thanked him and his staff for an excellent meal. Although this was our first visit it will certainly not be our last.

Always look forward to going to the Bistro when we are in Skipton. Food is excellent, service is always good and the family are very warm and friendly. Dogs welcome and a relaxed atmosphere. A unique place.

Lovely food, I chose mixed seafood in filo pastry and my husband had the lamb. Great taste . Good choice of wine. Friendly staff.

Welcome not very good got the food order wrong very apologetic didn't ask if we wanted any more water for the table didn't ask if we wanted coffee's or more drinks. The staff not very friendly need to treat customers better. Having said all that the food was excellent would go again.

Booked lunch for my daughter’s birthday on 20th April, very busy to say it was a Monday. Varied and exciting menu, food we chose was superb. Friendly, attentive staff. Will definitely eat here again.

A very welcoming local pub, with fabulous home cooked food and a great atmosphere. We sat out the back in the sunshine drinking wine, and then came in for food.

Our 2nd visit to this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Good service, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and the food is tasty and reasonably priced. There is a good choice on the menu (Saturday evening).

We loved the food! Pizza was delicious and the onion rings were just the right side of crispy! The service was exceptional especially after a very busy and hot day. The only criticism is that the drinks were a little on the expensive side when most are poured from cans - but everyone needs to turn a profit somewhere. We will definitely be back next time to we visit Skipton

Met a friend for lunch ......we both absolutely love this restaurant. Im from Bingley and my friend from Heysham. We love the money bags .
