Being from Australia I was unaware of the Maypole pub but by chance found myself there for dinner and I must say it was one of the best meals I have had. Lovely staff and lovely pub highly recommend.

First time I had been to Le Bistro after living in Skipton for 5 yrs. Overall it was a pretty good experience for all the family. The staff were attentive and worked hard all evening

We’d booked for 5 people but six of us arrived for an early evening dinner. An extra place was quickly set and we were well looked after throughout the evening by the serving team. The menu was extensive with a range of starters, main courses and desserts with an emphasis on fish. However there was plenty to satisfy meat eaters and vegetarians. Diners who’d been before chose the ‘fish moneybags’ because ‘they were so good’, but we all agreed that we’d had lovely food and that there were very tempting dishes from which to choose. We plan to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our re-visit to the Maypole after several years and and a particular joy to occupy the corner table near the fireplace. The stall were all very friendly & helpful and we enjoyed our meals.

Fabulous experience from start to finish ( o French onion soup to die for ) staff very attentive and worked very hard . We live in London , our second visit to the Bistro and did not disappoint . Will definitely recommend .

This use to be my local, and got to say the food was just as good as it always was, the interior has changed abit and the people but yes the food was still well worth travelling for, and still a very pleasant atmosphere and will definitely be returning more frequently again. Thank you to the team at maypole for making my partners birthday meal the best x

Had a great evening meal. Very welcoming and friendly but most of all delicious food with a French flair. Recommend the sea bass.

Lovely meal at Le Bistro! A great variety of options on the menu, I went for The moneybags and they were fabulous! Service was brilliant, attentive and polite staff. Will definitely be back in the bear future! Thank you ☺️

Charming restaurant serving good food with nice wine list Had a lovely meal here recently wish I had the Monkfish which my wife loved!! But my tagline was good aswell
