Rueters – SouthportHad a meal in here on a quiet night, was not impressed with the level of service received, especially as it was quiet. Food ok, nothing special, which I was expecting.Bit disappointed as I had been recommend.
Auberge Brasserie – SouthportWe have made this our local. It has never let us down for a good night out or just as somewhere to go for a good, and definitely value for money meal. The bar and restaurant staff are attentive but not intrusive. Always a good atmosphere, always good entertainment. The management have put together a good place to be and maintain it very well.
Rueters – SouthportWhat a wonderful pub! We visited for my mothers 85th birthday, the food was fantastic and excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly and Jackie the manageress made a special fuss of my mother with it being her birthday. A good time was had by all, we will definitely visiting again soon. Thank You
Arion At Ainsdale – SouthportWe were in a traffic diversion which took me past this pub and decided to stop ~ thank goodness we did. The decor was tasteful, the place clean, and the meal was not only excellent quality but plentiful and realistically priced. Thank you Jackie for some good food and refreshment.
Arion At Ainsdale – SouthportWe have been eating at Le Boulevard for many years and cannot praise it too highly. From the lovely friendly (but not too familiar) staff to the excellent menu and well cooked and presented meals which are competitively priced and excellent portions.Looking forward to many more delicious lunches. Lil and Eddie
Le Boulevard – SouthportAnother surprising Indian restaurant has somehow eluded my radar until recently. I must be losing my edge! It is a fairly recent addition to the already prolific number of Indian restaurants in the Southport area. I have not dined inside, but upon collecting my takeaway from the Saahil establishment, I could not help but notice the ambient lighting and atmosphere which would be well suited to a relaxing evening out. My charming hostess Nikki (forgive me if I have spelt the name incorrectly) was more than happy to assist in choosing a dish to suit my taste at the time. It is clear that the food is prepared by people who care about (and enjoy) their own cuisine. I really loved the 'Lamb Chop Tandoori' starter I had, as it is infused with some mouthwatering spices which give it a very authentic taste. I do love my tandoori, and have never quite tasted anything like it. I shall be returning soon. Thoroughly recommended!
Churrasco Grill – SouthportWe have visited the pub a couple of times since the reopening and have been very impressed with the interior design, lay out of the food and drinks areas, the friendly service provided by all of the staff and the quality of the food served. On Sundays the traditional Sunday lunch is a particularly good choice and is very reasonably priced too. I am currently working my way through the pudding list, and can highly recommend the Sticky Toffee Pudding and Jam Roll. My daughter liked the fact that she could have custard with any of the puddings! In December we hope to return to check out the Christmas menu.
Arion At Ainsdale – SouthportThis really is a hidden little gem of an Indian restaurant / takeaway. I am an avid curry fan and am very particular about quality Indian food. This place has such a mouthwateringly diverse menu, I get hungry just thinking about it. Some curry houses have a very bland selection to choose from but The Indian Palace caters for every taste bud. Sweet, sour, mild to blindingly hot, the dishes here make this my number one choice for Indian food. The staff are very polite too. The only thing missing on the menu for me is a 'mansuri' dish or 'lamb chop tandoori.' I would love to see those added to this already tantalising menu, but I'm just greedy. Five star food, which I thoroughly recommend to any fan of Indian cuisine. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Simply superb!
Bengal Lounge – SouthportI have had many Indian meals and The Kasturi is one of the finest restaurants in Southport. There is an authentic taste and some fantastic dishes. A takeaway delivery service would be nice but other than that, you can't go wrong. Pure quality!
Kasturi Indian Cuisine – SouthportBeen in the past and it was excellent but went last Tuesday and the food was not nice, the service was terrible. Disappointed as the last time it was perfect.
Auberge Brasserie – SouthportUsed to be a good place to eat but the standard has slipped within the last few months. Food cold and very delayed
Rueters – SouthportI have been visiting The Botanic Gardens since before I was old enough to remember and cannot recall a trip without a visit to the excellent family run cafe. Always greeted with a smile, the service and food quality can always be relied upon. Everyone I have taken there has commented on the milky coffee and the chips. There is foo to appeal to everyone and the homemade specials are always lovely. Since recently going there with my own son, the highchairs and flexibility make it a great place to take our little boy. I would recommend it without reservation.
Botanic Gardens Cafe and Settle Inn – SouthportFantastic food and service. Never fails to please me each time I go. Really good value for money too. Jim
Lings on Kings – Southportwent here for lunch anticipating about £20 a head bill came to £18 for two The food was not five star but it was tasty and generally well presented. Would definitely go there again, only let down for me personally was dessert but others in our party really enjoyed it
The Real China – Southporttasty homemade great staff (fit girls) great gift fair !!!!!!!!!!!!
Botanic Gardens Cafe and Settle Inn – SouthportEnjoyed a leisurely Saturday all day breakfast here, service was fast , courteous and waitress was informative about the dishes. Breakfast was piping hot ( a must for me) and was well worth the money- Would definitely eat here again
Le Boulevard – SouthportVisited Salvatore's for third time, never a problem fitting us in. dine inside or out ( weather permitting)Food of a very high standard, only problem is portion size, ok if you have an appetite like Desperate Dan.Service is excellent , kitchen can be seen from dining area so you can see that all food is prepared and cooked from fresh.Well worth a visit, cost of meals in our opinion will not disappoint. Two starters, two main meals, wine and coffee around £50
