Lings on Kings – Southportwent here for lunch anticipating about £20 a head bill came to £18 for two The food was not five star but it was tasty and generally well presented. Would definitely go there again, only let down for me personally was dessert but others in our party really enjoyed it
The Real China – Southporttasty homemade great staff (fit girls) great gift fair !!!!!!!!!!!!
Botanic Gardens Cafe and Settle Inn – SouthportEnjoyed a leisurely Saturday all day breakfast here, service was fast , courteous and waitress was informative about the dishes. Breakfast was piping hot ( a must for me) and was well worth the money- Would definitely eat here again
Le Boulevard – SouthportVisited Salvatore's for third time, never a problem fitting us in. dine inside or out ( weather permitting)Food of a very high standard, only problem is portion size, ok if you have an appetite like Desperate Dan.Service is excellent , kitchen can be seen from dining area so you can see that all food is prepared and cooked from fresh.Well worth a visit, cost of meals in our opinion will not disappoint. Two starters, two main meals, wine and coffee around £50
Salvatore’s – SouthportVisited 28 Sept 2011.Nice surroundings, chickenless and very sweet more like a sugary drink - chicken & sweetcorn soup. Hot and sour soup smelled like a farm yard. Chips freezing cold . Fresh food coming out of the kitchen was cold as soon as it was put on display.Wait for it....Plates to eat the food off were chipped in many places. Definitely won't be going back
The Real China – SouthportWe were in the area for one night 24/9 and this was recommended to us by our b&b host. We arrived five minutes before they stopped serving but no problem. The service was excellent and the food sublime. The restaurant had a lovely ambience, and the proprietors were visible, attentive and totally focused on your satisfaction, with the staff personable and efficient. Very highly recommended.
Master McGraths – SouthportRecently ate here with my family and the first thing that stood out for us was the choice of food and price. The next thing was how friendly the staff were to us. The food is fantastic, the vegetarians in our family were well catered for and roast dinner was equally excellent too. Definitely worth stopping by if you looking for top quality food!
Le Boulevard – SouthportMe and my partner went for tea here on Monday and i was stunned at how awful the food was the service was terrible the waiter had no manners and could hardly speak English and the food was disgusting the soup was watery, hardly any meals out we didn't eat our £10.95 worth each and was kicking ourselves that we chose to eat there and felt sick when i had to pay £30.00. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone it is the worst Chinese we have ever had.
The Real China – SouthportGreat food and friendly staff ,what more can you want from a night out. They have music nights at the weekends. The prices are very good and an interesting menu.
Lings on Kings – SouthportNothing too much trouble for the chef or the very courteous and attentive staff. The food is of a consistently high standard with an exceptionally varied menu - everything is very competitively priced and Le Boulevard has, of recent times, been credited with various awards for it's endeavours. Highly recommended - give it a try - you will not be disappointed.
Le Boulevard – Southportgood food
Botanic Gardens Cafe and Settle Inn – Southportgood food
Toby Carvery – SouthportI had a 5 course banquet meal along with my family, every single part of the meal was spot on. The service was great, really friendly and one very important thing which other restaurants often get wrong is that the timing for each course being served was perfect. We will definitely return soon :)
Lings on Kings – SouthportI've been here several times for birthday meals and the banquet ribs are the best! Food & service is excellent and Ling sings "Happy Birthday" - what more could you want?
Lings on Kings – SouthportThe Forge Brasserie is an absolute gem of a place which is quite hidden away. I took my friend and granddaughter there yesterday for a meal. The service was exceptional with food to match! I enjoyed the salmon, cod and prawn en croute, which had a lovely sauce and perfectly cooked vegetables. Many thanks to the Forge Brasserie!
Forge Brasserie – SouthportTravelled from Leeds today for a day by the sea and had lunch at Gusto! My Pollo Condito in foccacia was gently warmed and filled with tender, well cooked chicken. The anchovy mayonnaise was a delicate flavour and the lettuce was crisp and fresh. Served with an espresso macchiato by attentive staff there was change from £7. Fantastic value and lovely to hear fluent Italian being spoken! Check it out - you won't be disappointed.
Gusto Trattoria – SouthportFrom the moment I phoned to book a table to when we left at the end of the evening, the service we received was excellent.. The food was equal to the service. Definitely going again
