Westminster Tea Rooms – SouthportPlease tell me the ingredients to the delicious salad I had today, mozerella cheese, assorted leaves, sundried tomatoes and .... What? It was heavenly! On the downside, my hubby chose a meat pie with chips and it was COLD! Now come on, of you offer HOT FOOD, trade description and all that- it should be HOT! If you cant get that right - why bother? It was SO disappointing for us. He brought it to your attention but was told that you cannot rewarm the food, well to be fair, if it HAD been warm, it had been much earlier that day- so he was sent yo a microwave to warm it for himself while I say and enjoyed my delicious salad bowl, hardly a memorable experience for our first ever visit to Liverpool, wouldnt you agree? We are easily pleased, good tasty food when we want it, hot for him, cold for me, is that too difficult? Linda
Debenhams Cafe – SouthportMy husband Mal and myself visited Lings on Kings last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and are we pleased we did ! What fantastic food, probably the best Chinese food we have tasted. The ambience was great and Ling herself is so charming and friendly. Although it was a Monday night and we thought it may be quiet we were surprised to see the ground floor of the restaurant (which is on two floors) almost full., and what a lovely evening we had. he service was second to none, the food absolutely fantastic. I could not comment on one particular dish being better than another because it was all gorgeous. The service could not be faulted and we shall definitely be going to Lings again. Thank you Ling for such a lovely and memorable evening - it was great to meet you.
Lings on Kings – SouthportLovely friendly staff excellent food. Lovely surroundings
Lucy’s Coffee Shop – SouthportHave not been here for a while so popped in for tea, had same as last time, Clam Chowder and Steak Rossini, both really nice, good ambiance and friendly servers, Really good food,
Forge Brasserie – SouthportThis is my favourite place to eat. It is truly the best place by far. The food is delicious, every thing is made with love and passion for food. The staff go out of their way to make sure you want for nothing. And are always very pheasent. I think dolce vita has been there for over 25 years and has always been run, managed and owned by mario and his family! They have also opened a bar just up the road called bar mio. A truly unforgettable night.
Dolce Vita – SouthportGood value and food. I have never been disappointed. The staff are very friendly and accommodating even with a large family get-together, their standards didn't drop.
Salvatore’s – SouthportHave dined at the Alamir Bistro twice, most recently in March. Food and Service excellent. Freshly cooked to order. Well worth a visit!!
Alamir Lebanese Bistro – SouthportWe went for our Ruby Wedding. 22 of us had a lovely night. Aslo had my 60th there.
Rueters – Southportmy family and i visited your restaurant on sunday 7th april 2013. all four of us ordered the sunday lunch menu.the starters were very ordinary but the main courses were terrible.the beef and the lamb were so tough you could hardly chew and digest both meats.the so called roast potatoes were the kind you could buy in a supermarket from the frozen food isle and to complete the meal the vegatables were cold. my wife and i ordered creme bulee which just happened to be thick solid custard, burnt on top.the two other desserts where ice cream because of limited choice.to complete the disaster the house wine was mediocre and over priced.the reason i did not complain at the time was because i was treating my sister in law to sunday lunch and did not want to spoil the occasion.i was contemplating various restaurants and by a stroke of bad luck I chose yours.i cannot understand how you could serve such a miserable meal and expect people to come back.i am afraid that you have lost my custom and also many of my friends.what should have been a special occasion turned out to be a disaster.

Forge Brasserie – SouthportI am on a bucket wish kind of break in Southport and would like to taste and drink the best we can before it's too late."The wharehouse" in Southport. What a find for us. My wife and I had lunch there today, Mueles mariner, a favourite from Brittany days was on the menu. Sublime! absolutley sublime. My wife then had Pork belly with Parsnip Puree squeeky beans and gravy. She then had Rice pudding with rhuebarb and crunchy granole, whilst I had the cheese platter. Under £50 and worth every penny. Quite unforgetable.Hopefully we will be able to visit again.

Thai Rice – SouthportWas very pleased to see this venue had reopened, went in to try out, What a nice place, run by a young couple, very friendly and helpful people.Had the Tom Yum soup (as ever) rich spicy hot with plenty of prawns and mushrooms, lovely and followed by chuchee going which was 4 ginormous prawns in a spicy aromatic coconut sauce with Thai herbs, absolutely scrummy. I was so impressed I took a beef green curry takeway for next day ! Very good food and price wise about £20 a head with a drink, definitely gone on to my A list
Thai Rice – SouthportExcellent service and great food. Would recommend. Just shame about the parking space. Rita
Oriental Delight – SouthportWent with friend this last week, what a nice place, spacious nice ambience with the barbacue grill taking pride of place. owner manager recognised me from when he had a crosby restaurant, nice, the food is splendid mainly cooked on demand on the barbie. tasty, spicy and plenty of it all in all about £20 a head drinks included.
