We have been visiting this restaurant for the last 10 years and throughout that time the quality of the food has not varied - A1. The ingredients are clearly fresh, the service friendly and the prices more than a match for any other establishment in the area. Highly recommended.

Antons cafe bar St Annes, i found my experience at Antons a pleasant polite environment with helpful staff that are more than willing to help you out. The food presentation was delightful and was fresh good tasting food. The atmosphere was really warming and eventful with a good music style set in the background. The decor was charming , and all this for a very reasonable prize. My Mamma Mancini Chicken Caesar salad which was more than enough and beautiful £5.odd. I was happy to pay the prize of my salad because it was the nicest caesar salad iv ever had. ! I hope the best to Antons cafe bar and all the staff.

Still generally good value for money, but seems like the prices keep going up whilst the portion sizes are going down. The bar is normally understaffed too...quite often just 2 people working on a massive bar, which can mean quite a long wait especially if people are ordering food.

We try to get to the Bilash at least once a fortnight. We have been to Indian restaurants all over the country and we can honestly say the Bilash is one of the best. The portions are very generous and good value for money. Check out the Chicken Shashlick, highly recommended.

I have eaten at Margherita's several times over the years and can honestly say i have never had a bad meal there & the service is always the best. I often go for the early bird too, which is just as high quality - much better than the food/service you ever get at Tiggi's!

The Moghul and undergone a refurb and has a much more modern and contempory vibe. As usual the service was excellent, fronted by host with the most Danny. The menu range has increased. Cleverly the Moghul tries out new dished by giving them as complimentary accompaniments. Those that work are then added to the menu. We tried some side dishes that we had never had, lentils and ochre which were great! We washed it all down with a nice Chianti and Kingfisher beer. If you want an Indian meal in St.Annes this is definitely the place!

Contrary to what frances said i found my fish and chips the exact opposite! The fish was nice but the chips are sometimes a bit soggy. I'm not sure if it was actually haddock i got, as that is what i ordered, think it was cod. Never mind, i am a good customer, i eat from there about once a week and i will be going back.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at the queensway. I was served by a very rude girl called samantha who raised her voice in a very impatient way when i had to return to my table to ask my wife what other meal she would like as three of the meals we chose would not be available. both my wife and i felt intimidated when the same girl brought our meals over and never said a word even though we thanked her. I have been eating at the queensway for many years but will now have to start looking for somewhere else to go.

We visited Green's Bistro on Friday 19th Oct for the first time and the food was absolutely gorgeous. We selected from the very competitively priced set menu and were not disappointed by the choices offered. The service was good but the whole place lacks an intimate atmosphere: the music played was just too quiet which made you feel self-conscious about your own conversation and the lighting was too harsh, despite tea-light candles on the tables. My husband ordered a bottle of beer which was "cool" rather than the expected "cold". Overall, we had a lovely meal but probably wouldn't go back because of the disappointing ambience. The bill only came to £40 which was fantastic value for two three-course meals , two generous glasses of red wine and two bottles of a well-known brand of beer.

Well where do we begin. We’d eaten in the restaurant in 2001 and thought it was absolutely fantastic and well deserved the Lancashire Life award so we were looking forward to a repeat of the same. It got off to a pretty good start as we sat upstairs and had a complimentary glass of champagne. From then on though it was downhill……. We were given the menu which comprised of a sheet of an A4 sheet of paper with four starters, four mains and four desserts so we were hardly blown away by the choice on offer. We wouldn’t have minded this so much as we thought the food would be outstanding in quality but it was far from so! To be honest it was hard to pick a starter and main as nothing excited us. For starter we both picked a goats cheese terrine with crostini. It was ok but lacked any flavour to complement the goats cheese. Next we both opted for the rib eye of beef (as there wasn’t a fillet steak anywhere to be seen on the menu). This came with mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, chunky chips and onion rings. The beef was very, very fatty and the whole dish tasted greasy like everything had been cooked in 10 year old oil. It was very disappointing. For dessert I opted for a white chocolate mousse cake. This was nice but I could get something very similar from Marks and Spencer. My husband chose cheese and biscuits which were ok. The evening was “Friday Night Live” and there was a lady singer on a stage (started about 8.45pm). The music was a bit loud and overbearing so it put an end to any conversation! There were tables with groups of people and they got up dancing so they seemed to enjoy that part of the night but it’s not really to my taste. I’m sorry to have sounded so negative but I wanted to give an honest critique of our evening. We were meant to be celebrating a special occasion and we may laugh about it in years to come but we certainly weren’t laughing at the time and given that it cost £66 (just for the food) I think it was over-priced for what was on offer. We had an opportunity to give some feedback to the restaurant manager as we were paying for the bill (we wouldn’t normally do this but it had been so disappointing and the man prompted us by asking if we had enjoyed our evening). His customer service was excellent and he explained that he had only been in the post for a week. I hope others will be as honest as they can only improve if we tell them. The surroundings were lovely and staff were efficient and polite - its just a shame that the food let the whole experience down.

Both myself and my boyfriend ate at this quaint thai restaurant Saturday, 29th September 2007 and had one of the best Thai meals we have ever eaten - this little number is a hidden treasure on the outskirts of Blackpool - the food was fantastic - so much so this is why I am writing a review. the service was excellent and the staff very attentive, the food was quality at its very best. I would give it 10 out of 10 and we are definitely going to go back. Keep up the good service Banthai. Naomi & David

The last time I ate from the bar menu here it was a Beefeater and was excellent. Now it's changed to a Harvester the menu has decreased in choice and reduced in price but the portion size remains as good value for money. Go before 6pm and the prices on a large selection are even cheaper. One thing very much lacking is the choice of drinks for children. We have 3yr old twins and were offered only fruit squash in glasses - any parent will tell any landlord the virtues of fruitshoot type drinks - so if you have a three year old who can't yet handle a half pint glass then maybe take your own drinking bottle/cup. Service was excellent and can not be faulted. The Queensway has a brilliant reputation based on customer care and the management team certainly carries that on. If you want good food for a reasonable price then you won't go wrong.

My girlfriend and I were walking down Lytham prom at about 4pm on Sunday. We suddenly got the munchies and were racking our brains for a good place to go for a savoury snack in the sun where we could get a quality glass of wine. The idea of tapas was exactly what we were after. Then bingo the Grand Hotel came into mind as its had a big refurb and a new restaurant. It was absolutely perfect, we sat in the sun overlooking the sea quaffing a lovely pinot grigio and munching on top end tapas! Lytham shrimps, black pudding, chorizo and chunky chips. Service was excellent and aided by portable service buzzers on the table. Then to cap it all we were surrounding by the peacocks of the Red Arrows who were obviously staying at the Grand after the air show! I was really very impressed!
