Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaI really have to say this is my pick of the bunch of the Tandoori/Balti Restaurants. The walls are adorned with certificates from various guides and organisations and the recommendations given in this website are testament to how good this place really is. The service is and has always been truly outstanding. It? a very different kind of service where you genuinely feel welcome and not just for your custom. My Chowdhary must work seven days a week and he is the one that makes the place tick.
Bilash Balti – St. Annes-On-SeaI am a sufferer of coeliac disease, which is gluten and wheat intolerance. I find it very difficult to go out for meals because I feel very awkward asking what ingredients are in every meal, however, I went to Gemma and they were very helpful! They didn't make feel like I was asking too many questions and when the food came, it was exquisite! The best meal I have ever had.
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaA few friends and I went for a meal at Gemma, and it was amazing. The food was the best any of us have tasted, and it was fairly priced. We will certainly go back and I recommend it to all of my friends! They also do not add any thickening agents so it is also suitable for those with coeliec disease, which my mum suffers from.
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaFood is very tasty and the staff are always very friendly you can not ask for more help when you need some thing and it has a very good sense of good will
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaI am a great fan of Indian food. I recently moved to St-Annes from Blackpool and tried the few Indian restaurants in the area and I must admit this is my favourite. My favourite dish is the King Prawn Jalfrezi Balti (hope its spelt right!). The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. Although there are fewer restaurants in St-Annes, they are much better than Blackpool but this is definitely the best Indian In St-Annes. I am addicted to this restaurant and I always recommend friends and colleagues. It even does carry out take aways! Les
Bilash Balti – St. Annes-On-SeaFood is of a great standard, beats most London Thai restaurants for quality. Banthai is more like going to friends for diner. The Duck curry is a must and the prices are very reasonable. A real plus point for St Annes
Banthai – St. Annes-On-SeaThe early set menu is fantastic value, the a la carte is also fairy modest for the quality you get. Consistent quality and interesting menu, not trying too hard to be trendy thank goodness. Fresh food, well prepared and well served. All the family are fans including 2 teenagers who will even tidy their rooms on the promise of Jack's chocolate fondue!
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaWe are regulars, service is always friendly, food is always tasty and the bill is always modest. Some surprisingly good wines for very surprising prices and fantastic veggie selection - ask for any of the veggie side dishes as a main course. Only complaint is we can never finish the portions!
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaIf you weren? looking for it you? miss it, located in a basement off the main road. Once you do find it its definitely remembered. The chef here is producing top quality real food, I had a starter of asparagus with hollandaise and an incredibly well cooked poached egg on top, it was light and delicious. For the main I chose the aged steak on a gallet of potato with wild mushroom sauce, again the dish had a lightness to it, not over rich with the sauce, I welcomed it, the steak was cooked perfectly. If you are ever in this area go here you wont regret it. The wine list was also very good with high quality wines by the glass.
Greens Bistro – St. Annes-On-Seawe went there at the weekend and was served by the very polite and helpful Dina, the food the service and price were all brilliant. I had the steak feast and my partner had the mixed grill, for dessert the lemon meringue sundae beautiful as always definitely recommend.
My partner and I are regular visitors to this restaurant as it is very close to where we live. Recently we and two friends went out for a meal and left it up to the staff to decide what we should eat - we just wanted a vegetarian feast - and we were all very pleased with the food, the taste, the quality and the quantity and even more pleased when the modest bill arrived. Other guest's smoke has been an issue on the odd occasion.
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaHave just had another excellent meal at Jacks. The quality is always good my only complaint would be that the portions are such a good size I can never find room for a dessert. The nights when they have entertainment are excellent value for money.
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaI eat out regularly at all the many eating establishments in the area but I have to say that the Bilash is my favourite. I always come in with my wife and sometimes with my sons. We always love it here. The Bilash is a family run business and has a nice caring, and comfortable atmosphere. You?e made to feel really welcome here. If you haven? visited you should.
Bilash Balti – St. Annes-On-SeaWe always seem to get the same outcome on our many lunchtime visits. Excellent food, excellent prices, but appalling service. They are ALWAYS terribly understaffed, especially at busy times i.e. lunch time and teatime.
Trawl Boat Inn – St. Annes-On-SeaExcellent quality of food, and excellent value for money. Always happy to help. Great shop
Hungry Monkey – St. Annes-On-SeaI enjoy eating here whenever i can i love the atmosphere and the food. The staff are always very helpful, my partner and i always enjoy the steak and i love the dessert menu would recommend every time.
Friday night 6:00pm ?arly Bird? J. had John Dory in Batter and Chunky chips to start. I had Mushroom Parfait, apple and beetroot chutney, Melba Toast, with seasoned salad leaves. For mains, we both went for the Chargrilled rump steak, herb mash, with mini pastry case filled with sausage and baby onions in red wine sauce. Then to round it off nicely, we both had Baileys Crème Brulee. All washed down with a nice bottle of white wine. DELICIOUS. I really enjoy Jack? Bistro. I would recommend it to anyone.
