Awful night. Thank you Bruno’s for ruining my Birthday by being rude and LYING about me to another customer! Booked as I have mobility issues and therefore important flooring flat, plus food good and service previously good. Ordered 1st drink with food, all good. When food finished, a lot of waste on plates so we asked if we could take it home for the pets. They refused! We tried to order a second drink and were left waiting over 30 minutes while waiters shot past and ignored me. I left to phone for a cab and young girl who took my payment opened the restaurant door for me. She swung it open wide and knocked over a mirror on a tripod on that belonged to a party of guests in the bar area. I saw this but as I was in a lot of pain and I had no involvement, I left to make my call. While waiting for the taxi a lady from the group in the bar came out to us saying she had been told by staff that I had knocked her mirror down and run away?! I am Furious about this as this was a complete LIE and obviously the restaurant just didn’t want to compensate the family, but also didn’t care about implicating me, an innocent (and disabled) bystander and allowing the confrontation to escalate! I was mortified! Disgusting. I will NEVER be going to this place again. Very shoddy treatment.

The food was delicious and so fresh and service was good. Goya is a fantastic host and always makes you feel welcome , a lovely little restaurant with a great atmosphere will definitely be returning

Delightful bar lounge and restaurant in St Helens, serving high end food with excellent service. The menu is brief but offers good variety supplemented by quality sides. We didn’t try the desserts but the cheese board was very good. Good bar which is generally unusual for restaurants, all in all very worth the visit

Our go-to favourite place for 8 years! The staff are lovely and the food is delicious. Happy to be regulars!

Best meal I’ve had in a long time.

Food was lovely, however our meal for two was spoilt by: Starters: one was served then we had to chase the second after waiting 10 mins. Mains: 45 mins after the starters were finished we had to chase the mains. When they were finally delivered part of the order was wrong. At no point were we asked if our food was ok or an apology given for the extremely poor service. Nice food but let down badly by the service and rude staff.

Food was lovely, staff were apologetic and pleasant, but that's where it ends. Poor management amd organisation. Upon entering we had to join a queue in the doorway where there was a large group paying individually. Our reserved table was not ready, even tho it was not full. Then told it was ready, only to find another waitress had given it away! So we found ourselves waiting in the doorway again. Payment should be made at the table, and the desk used solely for greeting customers. No condiments on the table, and the vi negar bottle looked like it had come from the chippy. My online dietary request had not been done, even tho they were happy to organise it once I got there. The tables were much too close together, no privacy whatsoever. Then even tho we asked for the bill at the table we were expected to go and queue in the doorway again to pay! It's a restaurant not a fast food place!!!! People at the table next to us asked 3 times where their drinks where. Our coffees were luke warm and more like warm milk! It's a poor relation to other Brazilians such as Brembrazil! These issues need addressing if it is to compete!

Amazing food, love coming here. However, was let down by poor service waiting over 15 minutes for drinks, even longer when asked for the bill.

Visited New Years Eve - 6.30pm still there 9.20pm service a little slow but expected as they were very busy. Food was great, as always, and staff were pleasant. We were sat upstairs for first time, never new it was there. However atmosphere ok! Will be going back.

A fantastic place to eat! The food is so tasty and a brilliant service. So well worth a visit!

Two of us enjoyed a lovely afternoon here. Great food, great service and lovely entertainment from a pianist and a singer. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. We will definitely be returning
