Jalsa Tandoori Restaurant – NewcastlePurchased a "We Love Local" voucher for a meal at this restaurant. Comprising - Starter, Main course and Glass of Wine for two people. We live over 1 hour away so decided to make a day of it with a visit to the RAF Museum at Cosford then travel up to Stowe-by-Chartley. We were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed and had a pre-dinner drink. The food was excellent, the wine good and we ordered desserts and coffee as well. Will put ourselves out again for this excellent restaurant.
Bistro Le Coq – StaffordOrdered take away on recomendation both times took 1 hr to 1hr 30 mins to come despite original quote of 30 to 40 mins. won't bother again.
Milon Restaurant – Stoke On TrentLovely food, friendly staff, always a good atmosphere, plus its only over the road!Never had a bad meal in over 20years, it actually gets better with age!
The Seabridge – Newcastlefriendly, competitive priced ,food is amazing, deco is my style. Best experience so far.
T A A J Fine Dining – CannockBella Italia is our favourite restaurant, me and my partner have been to Manchester on loads of times thats our favourite place to go. We`ve also been to the Blackpool one, and this one in Stoke on Trent we think its fab, excellent food, quick service. We both love Italian food I would recommend this to anyone that loves Italian. I seem to stick to Bella Italia restaurants, I don't seem to venture out much because it's that good we keep coming back for more , Donna.
Bella Italia – StaffordGood food with excellent menu. Landlord very friendly, service good with everything made fresh with local produce.
The Star Inn – EccleshallWe visited the Bleeding Wolf on Saturday for a family celebration and overall really enjoyed our experience. We reserved a table which was waiting for us when we arrived, and also arranged with the staff that we could bring our own birthday cake along which they would bring out as a surprise. They were all very helpful doing this. We had a small problem with the soups we had as a starter, in that it was only luke warm and the white bread we were served had small amounts of mold on it. The waitress immediately changed this for us and it was forgotten. The mains were all great, very tasty and the birthday cake was presented as requested. A special mention should go to the beer on offer which was superb, especially the Hair Of The Wolf. Apart from the couple of hiccups, a fine pub.
Bleeding Wolf – Stoke On TrentVery clean and well presented restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value. Would certainly call in again. The Curry Monster on behalf of The Whitnash Curry Lovers.
Naz Restaurant & Takeaway – LeekCalled in to night after seeing signs on the main road. Wanted to see menus which one was given and informed that it was not the usual one. Hospitality nil and felt we were in a dentists surgery rather than a restaurant .We really liked the look of the place and would have certainly been back to eat. Spoke to another diner who said the food was great but the welcome didnt exsist.Very uncomfortable feeling for strangers, perhaps a one off night but I dont think so
Bistro Le Coq – StaffordFantastic,,wouldn't want to go anywhere else,,food scrumptious...friendly happy staff..lovely and clean,, warm welcome ..small and friendly.. All the owner lovely..recommend to all my friends and family,,need to book very popular..
Eastern Memories – CannockThis place is lovely. A great atmosphere and great food at a great price 10/10
Arena restaurant – Stoke On TrentWe had our second visit to this lovely little pub today when we took two friends. We had a superb meal and the atmosphere was great and the staff friendly. We arrived just before opening time but they welcomed us in and made us coffee. We and our friends will definitely be returning. T and T Derby
Bistro Le Coq – StaffordHad a peri peri platter, and it was vile. The chicken was too spicy. We ordered the rice instead of chips. Big mistake. The rice tasted of just pure spice (not the spices to make the food taste nice but the hot spice). With both of them together and the food was unbearable. The chicken was just like cardboard and tasted like spice. Absolutely awful. If you love peri peri chicken then there's FUNKY chicken in Burslem and that place is a whole lot nicer than this one. Its a nice place to eat in, but the food is disgusting.
Chunky Chicken In Stoke – Stoke On TrentTook my mother in law for lunch and was very disappointed at their scam!!! . Outside was displayed the two course lunch special for £11.99 per person with complementary glass of wine. Inside, despite being given the same menu as outside we were told it was not the same menu and we would have to pay a la carte prices and the wine was extra. I took the waiter outside and asked him to explain the difference in the menus. He could not. It was a scam and he admitted it was deceiving. Shame on them.
Ristorante Sorrento – LichfieldSaghir Express is the best Restaurant in Stoke On Trent! The staff are so helpful and the food, WOW it is amazing. As soon as you have eaten your first place they are at your service. We go to Saghir Express all the time and we have NEVER been disappointed. Go to Saghir Express :)
Saghir Express Buffet – Stoke On TrentI reviewed this pub when it had been open a shot time. I regret to say since then it has turned into another very down market city centre pub. The toilets are not serviced very regularly and most of the time in a very smelly disgusting state. The staff are more interested in chatting among themselves than clearing tables. Please clean it up as we need a good clean pub that normal people can go in for a bar meal and drinks without feeling threatened by drunks and and seedy conditions.
The Glass Works – RugeleyExtremely good curry, with friendly, attentive staff. An exceptional Indian restaurant, that I would travel a long way to frequent, if I didn't live close. The best curry for many, many miles! Plus free parking - Champion!
Plaza Balti Tandoori Restaurant – Cannock
