on visiting the dyers since the re-furb,i was not disappointed...the food continues to be good value for money,no increase apart from a 30p charge on Sunday lunches which is nothing for good quality meat 3 fresh veg pots/roast trimmings and gravy you would like to dip up with a slice of bread! As the gentleman previously said...a warm welcome whether you are a regular or not and friendly/polite staff...a real home from home place.....trade seems to have increased so be prepared for a little wait, but it is worth the wait....we love it...give it a try...there is a blackboard which says...if we please you tell others,if we don't please tell us...well you can't get any fairer than that,we have never had a bad meal so ,here i am hopefully telling others...give it a try!

Around 10 years since i was in leek & the Dyers back then was renowned for its Bass.On visiting a relative i was saddened to hear that the landlord from those days had moved on to another pub a few years ago but still decided to call in to see if the Bass was still as good. I was pleasantly surprised on talking to the current landlord to learn that he infact was the stepson of the landlord from when i used to frequent the pub years before, and the sure enough the Bass was every bit as good as it was years ago,if not better! The pub was busy & had recently had a refurbishment to its dining area, people of varied ages were in the bar area(all seemingly drinking Bass!!!) & all seemed to know each other giving the Dyers a real welcoming feel. The Landlord & his staff were most welcoming & friendly sharing a laugh & a joke with me as if i was one of the regulars. The next time I'm back in leek i will be sure to return to the Dyers & enjoy a pint of Bass that must be amongst the finest around!

Whilst travelling back from Wales to Norwich we found this 'gem' What a pleasant experience - wonderful food, a warmth from the friendly staff, clean, all round - a brilliant atmosphere in all respect. I WISH THEY WOULD OPEN A BRANCH IN NORWICH! whenever we get the opportunity we will visit - whats more its not too far from Derbyshire where we visit often.

Not recommended. Visited in a party of 8 on Friday 11th June 2010 at 6.35pm. What an absolute disaster 3 meats on the carvery but they had run out of beef, run out of pork and only had gammon which was far too salty to eat. 2 of us had carveries but could not eat them. Vegetables overcooked except for the cauliflower which was almost raw. It took 2 hours for us all to get food. never again

looks pretty grotty from the outside...is dated inside, but clean...food is excellent value for money, good home cooking,2 main meals for £8,from a varied choice..including vegetarian, and also a 2 course menu available at lunch time for £5..don't let the cheap prices of this place put you off...it takes some beating...value for money! A re-furb is due this next couple of weeks...so trade should improve...also likeable hosts!

I have been using this chip shop since the early 1970s and tonight I have had the worst fish and chips i have ever had. The chips were pale and undercooked and the fish was dried out . I shall not be using them again.

I own The Fairway Motel in Rugeley about a hundred Mtrs to The Glass Works. I recommend this pub as a well run modern pub serving good bar meals most of my clients tend to use it due to its location and the comfort and feel of a proper pub.The beer is reasonably priced. A little loud Friday and Saturday as would be expected in the town centre

I can highly recommend the Green T. The food is very very good and the service is friendly and welcoming. I would say that it is the best Chinese restaurant in the area and will not go anywhere else. Gary Sharma
