Best food in cannock

I visit the Acorn occasionally and find it to be an excellent pub. The food is always of a high standard and we are made to feel most welcome.It feels like a proper "local"The Manager, Sian ,keeps a good cellar< knows her customers and is always able to advise what Guest beers to try.

i live in Birmingham but went to see my mom in gnosall.she took me to a pub called navigation inn .the people and the owners made me really welcome.the ale and food are excellent, i would highly recommend if you live by the navigation inn try it you would not be disappointed :-)

What a fantastic place. The ambiance was perfect, very friendly staff and the food was superb. We will eat there again for sure and recommend it to all our friends.

We have been dining at Portabello for several years. We have my husbands 60th birthday in May. A table for nearly 40. Menu was excellent service 100 per cent. Food brilliant.

We've been going to the Portobllo for over 5 years, at least once a month. We go there because the food and service are excellent.. Although we eat out at other places, the Portobello is the highlight of the month for us. Thoroughly recommended. Can never choose between the home made Tiramisu or the toffee crunch pie!

I'm afraid I wouldn't recommend the Garam Masala to anyone who wanted a restaurant experience. The service is adequate, the surroundings are bland if a tad worn out and the food is at best, OK. It's cheap and you get what you pay for.

Excellent meal,the beef was outstanding.The best i've eaten in a long long time.Staff very friendly and helpful.Price, unbelievable value for your money. Will definitively go back. Fully recommend to all.

I wouldn't recommend it. The curry I ordered had just three king prawns in a sauce for £13. Hopeless value for money. Having complained the manager insisted there were four prawns and would not budge or offer any apology. Even four prawns was still extortionate. A take it or leave it attitude. Not bothered about losing custom. Not going again.

stafford balti is the best place for consistently good food and service and Abdul looks after you with a personal touch.

Has to be the number one place to eat in tamworth, the service is friendly and the food is yummy, my fav is the mars bar cheese cake to finish the meal off. Nice selection of wines and not over priced, would def rec to everyone that is anyone

This restaurant is rubbish don’t take my word, look at it for your self the carpet is worn out to such a extent that your shoes stick to it, if that’s the condition of the front end I hate to think what the kitchen is like, the customer service is poor when I asked one of the waiters to help me carry my bag to the table, his response was its your bag you carry it. The food was rubbish, on my way out I picked the owner on the state of the carpet, his response was its got another 2 years life. I would never go there again.

I visited the green tea with family and friends, the service was second to none couldn't complain at all the staff were all so friendly and worked hard to please a packed out restaurant 10 out of 10. I can't wait to dine here again.

The Hollybush is my favourite local pub. We eat there near enough every week and have never had a bad meal. The specials board (excl Sunday) is great - all meals are under £5 and the quality and portion size is incredible. They also have the "main" menu with a great choice of meals made from predominantly local produce, there is also a lunch bar menu which has great choice too.

I recently went to this restaurant for the first time. I was really impressed with the ambience. The staff are very polite and professional. The food is really good and authentic. I would go back to this place again
