Fantastic group of guys. A small group of friends and I are vegan and they have no problem making up dishes for us. The food is mouth-watering! Excellent value for money.

I have been a customer at chandni cottage for about eight years all i can say is the food is excellent portions very generous and the staff most helpful and friendly.we plan on celebrating my 40th birthday there in April .

I booked a table for 6 people for a meal to dine at 8pm on Thursday 21st Jan 2010 and I must say how delighted we all were. We were greeted and made to feel welcome, there was no rush and we sat in the bar whilst we decided what we all wanted to eat from a menu which I am sure had something for any taste. We all enjoyed our meal and we are used to dining in the best restaurants. The service, presentation of the food, and quality and taste of the meals were 1st class. We will all be returning as we feel Bistro Le Coq is the best restaurant in the area and we had a wonderful evening What more can we ask for? nothing, thank you.

This is a great A La Carte buffet style restaurant. I have been about 9 times and have never had a bad meal. You can eat as much as you like and the prices are best VALUE compare to others A LA CARTE RESTAURANT in BURTON UK, The foods was fresh cooked and served to the table with hot warmer.

Must say very disappointed by the whole experience. Although the car park is convenient and the interior is pleasant enough, unfortunately what really lets this place down was the food. Both courses were below average and I didn't want to wait around for a third. Cannock you deserve far far better!

Finally found a great place to eat on Christmas day, the fish starter was the best we have ever had, the meal was really good, as always, and the friendly service from John and his staff made the occasion really memorable.

We visited on a Tuesday night. The welcome was warm and friendly. The service was excellent, friendly but unobtrusive. The menu was varied and reasonably priced. I had the Lasagna starter which was tasty, huge portion and obviously freshly cooked. No Microwave reheating here. My partner had a mushroom starter which was an equally generous portion and lovely flavours. I had a special for my main which was a Salmon al Forno, huge portion and again delicious. Also obviously cooked to order. My partner had a delicious steak dish, again a huge portion! We will make this a regularly visit but will take care to go hungry as neither of us could manage a pudding due to the generous portions. Good staff, lovely food, large portions and a good price!

2for1 deal,,that proves what kind of restaurant is that,been there once and never will go back..2 waiters are over 70 years old and one lady waitress over 50 she cant even speak English,you can Imogene what kind of service they will provide..

Fantastic meal, best service in Tamworth and prob birmingham. Make sure you try the mars bar cheese cake its too die for. Went for the 3 courses for only 11.95, cant knock it best 11.95 i have ever spent. Will be back again very soon and would rec it too anyone

We dined at th Hollybush on a Wednesday evening and every table was taken with people having meals which is testimony to how good the food is. The prices are reasonable and the portions are certainly adequate, everyone really enjoyed their meals, the meat is sourced locally and the homemade chips are to die for! Definitely the best pub grub in Stafford! But be warned you can't book in advance and its very popular

Best value, best service, yummy food, best wines and best of all we loved it, and will be back for more. Toffee crunch pie and mars bar cheese cake need i say any more. If you haven't tried portobello then where have you been
