Having been regular customers at A Tavola in Reddish, were keen to see how it had transferred to New Mills. We were not disappointed. Although much bigger than Reddish, the New Mills restaurant has kept all of its rustic charm and we were met with the same warm welcome. The menu is a more extensive and the food we had was as good as we remembered. I particularly loved the spring onions wrapped in pancetta and chargrilled. Him indoors had pasta with wild boar sausage and was not disappointed. I usually finish with baby cannoli, but we decided to share a selection of mini tarts. They were gorgeous and could become my new favourite. I am really pleased to say that A Tavola has kept everything that made it a success in Reddish and added to it. Great food, great drinks, lovely atmosphere and really friendly and attentive staff. What’s not to like? I’m already studying the menu in readiness for my next visit.

Fabulous food, this is a real gem and well worth a visit. The pizzas are excellent in particular, just as they are in Italy. They even bear with me when I try my attempt at speaking Italian.

Fantastic place. Great atmosphere warm and friendly .Welcoming friendly staff. making you feel comfortable as soon as. you enter. Large variety of dishes on the menu making it difficult to choose from , very genuine authentic cuisine, The food was delicious and freshly prepared food .Excellent service .

What a great find!!! Fantastic food, full of flavour. Hard to choose what to order. Genuinely lovely staff who provided great service and real friendliness. Loved the decor ...full of character! Homemade Limoncello to die for! I can see how it’s tricky to get a table here ... it’s fab!

We have been a couple of times, the staff are lovely and helpful. The food is really nice, my husband said his pizza was the nicest he has ever had, and that includes our Italian holiday!! I would recommend

A Tavola never disappoints. The food is phenomenal and the menu offers a great choice of proper Sicilian, incredibly hard to find anywhere else. The staff and the welcoming atmosphere is great too and it is another reason why we are always happy to eat here

What a wonderful restaurant, and definitely a welcome addition to New Mills! I had visited it's original format in Reddish before the pandemic and loved it then, but it has evolved into something very special in it's new home. The food is varied and offers choices you would not normally see in the usual Italian restaurant, and it is all beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The service is attentive and very friendly, and we enjoyed learning about the origins of the recipes. You really feel it is an authentic Sicilian experience, and I cannot recommend it enough. I have been visiting a few restaurants recently to celebrate my birthday with different groups of friends, but this was definitely my favourite meal so far, can't wait to visit again!

This is probably one of the best value for money restaurants you’ll ever visit, not your usual Mediterranean restaurant as the tastes are totally different to what you think you’ll be getting but in a great way, food is excellently cooked and presented and all done in a homely and friendly way that you’ll go back for again and again.

I love coming here! Atmosphere brilliant to walk into; place filled with happy people eating good food! We also had excellent, super friendly service and I’ve never been disappointed with the food yet!

As always a delicious meal, in a lovely restaurant with the best service. We brought my one year old niece to celebrate a 50th birthday meal and the staff were amazing with her, she had such a wonderful time being fussed over by them. Thanks for a great time!
