Lovely atmosphere and fantastic staff together with a great birthday meal - our thanks to everybody, unforgettable
Great place, love the cosy atmosphere and food excellent.
What a hidden gem! My husband and I tried this fantastic restaurant for the first time on Saturday evening and we were pleasently surprised! The food is superb and the atmosphere too.The staff certainly know their job. We are looking forward to going again.
Read the five star reviews so was expecting a good meal but what we got was way better than that! The two varieties of Arancini my wife and I had were excellent, the Sicilian mixed grill was also but the Saltimbocca was off the scale. I was too full for a dessert but my wife had the Strawberry Canoli which I did try and was as a savoury eater very impressed. Last word goes to the staff and chefs who make sure you have a wonderful eating experience. Will we go back again? Of course, to eat our way through the rest of the menu!
Good quality Italian food in Poynton! Recommended!
Ciao Ristorante – StockportFab little deli/restaurant in Reddish!
Took my mum for lunch on her 90 th birthday, their were 7 of us altogether, The food was amazing, the stafff lovely friendly and helpfulll, we had balloons on the table and they also supplied the candles for the cake , my mum had a wonderful afternoon, would recommend The Midway to anybody looking for somewhere nice to eat. Many thanks to management and staff.
The Midway – StockportJust what Bramhall needs! A top quality Thai take-away and street food eatery. It's cool, authentic and professional. Food was great and the staff very friendly and efficient.
Chilli Banana Thai Street Food – StockportWhat a terrible place, they had an act on called 'Cher' it couldn't sing and looked dreadful. She insulted all the customers in the pub with its vulgar statements. It was cringing, never again will we visit this pub.
Cow And Calf Inn – StockportWe booked a table for 10, deposit paid. We were split into 2 tables. Immediately on arrival one lady ordered the baguette. The other 8 chose the carvery. 20 mins after people began to eat the carvery the baguette arrived (in total 35 minutes since ordering) This was accompanied by a stone cold Yorkshire pudding and barely warm roast potatoes. The puddings took 15 mins to serve, one at once with lengthy gaps in between. Same situation with the coffee - most people finishing before others were served. One being so cold it was returned. The waitress appeared to be the only one on duty, rushing around and understandably very surly. Our last venture to the Rudyard was a disaster and we were told it had improved - no such luck!
Miller & Carter – StockportSounds great we want to come in.
Rozafa Taverna – StockportOver priced accommodation with a paltry continental breakfast, over priced bar, cheap and nasty condiments that don't do the decent food they cook and a lazy landlady that ignores customers and chats with her personal favourites for at least 10 minutes over a customer stood at the other end of the bar whilst the food goes cold
The Red Bull – StockportThe best little deli in the North West! Home baked bagels, croissants and speciality breads, delicious dips and salads, yummy cakes, excellent range of spirits I could go on and on. I have never stopped for coffee or a meal - I always seem to be rushing in before they close on a Saturday and buying lots of lovely treats for the weekend.
Armenique – StockportHello Lino, (and fantastic kitchen staff) Ordered four take away pizza and a salad tray last evening (Aug 3) picked them up about 7-15pm. My brother and his wife from Sydney Au -(who are used to great food) and were with us for the evening - said that your PIZZAS were fantastic and greatly enjoyable and as good as any pizzas anywhere they had dined. So thank you again for making our visitors so satisfied which our choice of Al-fresco for our food. Regards and more success to you all, Lavelia and Bernard Hood and Australian guests.
Al Fresco – StockportI am appauled at the lack of professionalism with this company. We met to discuss menus for my wedding, and after an hour of discussing things, he left saying that he would email a quote within 2 days and no later. After a week of nothing I emailed asking when the quote would be ready. His PA replied saying he's very busy & is sure he'd get back to me soon. A week after that, still nothing. I emailed again; nothing. I was quiet clear that we didn't have a large budget so perhaps they decided that we weren't worth their custom. Very disappointed. I also had some of their food at a friends wedding a month again and it was very average - definitely not worth the prices they are charging.
Barretts Event Caterers – StockportNever been disappointed at Mr Ali's , food excellent , service , great , and very reasonable prices , would highly recommend
Mr Ali’s – StockportThird visit this month for my wife and I and it just gets better, super pork, ham.turkey and beef and the carving chef is generous with the portions, the veg selection was again first classin particular the cauliflower cheese roast potatoes have become nicer, the gravies and all the sauces were excellent the only trouble is once you get you share and thelarge yorkshire on the top theres no more room fore anything else The Rudyard carvery caters for and should please everyone
Miller & Carter – StockportHad a terrible meal here, burnt to a crisp it was black, I would not serve it to family let alone paying clients. Conversation heard by bar maid I would rather have not have heard.
The White Horse – StockportSunday Special: 3 courses, £16.90
