Rozafa Taverna – StockportMy husband and I went there for the 1st time on our anniversary, to be honest we couldn't wait to get out, the Greek music was far too loud, the place and the waiter was grubby, the bowl of stale second hand olives was chipped and 'old' ... the 'meal' I had was piece of overdone steak with 4 little 'roast' potatoes and slice of lemon, nothing else!!! All in all, we were very disappointed and won't be going again.
Rozafa Taverna – StockportHello everyone, this is Manchester united's striker Wayne, i have been to the fine family lodge Indian restaurant in stockport and it was a beautiful experience. Had a Vindaloo it was the best curry in the world and exceeded the high standards i have always kept. i recommend this place to my fellow united team mates and to the rest of the world!!!!
Family Lodge Indian Restaurant – StockportFood execellent, Hospitality great, good value for money, when he moved from Lower Hillgate several years ago many of his customers followed. You may need to book to avoid disappointment. Enjoy
Bunga Raya – Stockport20 april had my birthday night there wid family was beautiful food great service best italian restaurant eva. maria anthony manning
Al Fresco – StockportI have been going here for years and they serve the best fish and chips for many a mile. Friends I have brought here have loved the atmosphere and the quality of the food. My personal suggestion to any new visitors is go for the chips and delicious gravy.
Taylors – StockportBeen to Mr Ali's quite a few times now and not been disappointed and don't expect to be either.Service is polite, helpful and always just right.Food is great and the mango lassi is to die for. To summarise ... good food , good service and good prices ... what more do you want ?
Mr Ali’s – StockportOver the past 6 months ive been visiting The Midway probably on average once a week. Service never changes and is always 1st class! Owners are brilliant and very welcoming. Food is amazing and very reasonably priced! Drink selection is unending. Sundays offer even more value for money as they offer 2 or 3 course meals at half the price of other restaurants who serve the same quality food! Try it for yourself! Booking in advance maybe a good idea depending on the day!
The Midway – StockportLovely wine!!!! Great selection of drinks! I am very obsessive when it comes to bathroom cleanliness, I love this place!!!! There is actual hot water and nice hand soap, there's also hand cream AND dryers that actually dry your hands quickly :):):):):):):):) wahey!! Nice comfy Seats or sofas and when iv done (and insanely failed) the pub quiz the organisers have been lovely x
The Midway – StockportThis is bar none the best curry house ever the food is brilliant
Mr Ali’s – StockportTHE BEST LEBANESE RESTAURANT IN UK. VERY BUSY AND LOTS OF OUTSIDE CATERING. BUFFETS,PARTIES, CHRISTENING, WEDDINGS, LOTS OF BUSINESS USED AT LUNCH TIMES.DELI.
JAS JAS JAS – StockportArmenique Gatley. Fabulous coffee and lovely light lunch of ciabatta sandwich. Excellent! Recommend, or maybe not? Don't want it to get so busy I can't get in!
Armenique – StockportMy wife and I have eaten here since its opened, when ever we eat out anywhere else, we always use Donatello's as the bench mark and not many come near, we love the food, drink and especially Roberto.
Donatello Pizzeria Ristorante – StockportRead about this restaurant 5 weeks ago - researched it and booked immediately - What can one say ? AMAZING - if you do not consider a 2 course lunchtime menu for £7 a head a bargain then you need a brain transplant. Fresh delicious food - great service Lovely People . Have booked XMAS already and a meal before my hubby flies to usa in November 5 STAR *****
Rozafa Taverna – StockportDO NOT EAT HERE. The place has a nice enough ambience but the staff do not observe basic hygiene practises. The food is average and overpriced, and the staff were almost entirely unprofessional.
Armenique – StockportMy sister and I ate at the Plaza in lat May 2011 and it was great. The atmosphere is lovely and since the cinema's restoration you feel like you are back in the 1930's. The meal was really good - lasagna and salad, water, scone and coffee. The price £11.00 each. The chef there is recommended and the waitresses (all kitted out in old fashioned "nippy" uniforms) are ultra friendly. Can't wait to go again.
Plaza Cafe Lounge – StockportTop restaurant, visited for the first time last weekend - cant believe we haven't been here before. Will certainly be recommending to friends and family
Siam Village Restaurant – StockportNot only the best place to eat in Stockport.....but probably the best place in Manchester....(in my opinion)!! This place is so understated....simply a doorway and a flight of stairs leading to a very 70's style retro cafe. One is usually greeted by Tony...(so disappointing when he isn't there)...warm, welcoming and humourous.....(those who aren't sure about his table-side jokes...must be boring old souls, for sure) He's an amazing, quirky guy...adding something very special to the overall atmosphere of the place. The food, needless to say, is simply superb....fresh, flame-grilled, delicious....decidedly healthy....and just perfectly Greek...and as if that isn't enough....it's reasonably priced too! Although I highly recommend Rosafa, at the same time, I feel almost loathed to do so...reason being, I know that once the word is out...folk will be hiking over from Didsbury/Hale and other such far flung places, (on their hunt for hip/cool)... spreading the word and convincing themselves they discovered the place!! (final word?...too cool for words...and..... emmm...I got there first!!!!)
Rozafa Taverna – StockportSunday Special: 3 courses, £16.90
