Stunning meal in very pleasant surroundings. The service was good and the pricing was very fair. Will certainly be back.

An excellent and really delicious Sunday lunch . Staff were attentive, professional and friendly. The only downside was a large group of diners who seemed incapable of speaking at a normal level and unable to consider other diners.

What a lovely little restaurant/Country pub. Ive cycled past here many times and had to finally try it with how beautiful it looks from the outside. We had a very pleasant evening dining, with the staff being very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic, very tasty and good portions. And the pub itself is just as nice on the inside as the outside. Very cosy with its low beamed ceilings and open fire.

We had a lovely meal, the food was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. It’s a beautiful pub and we will be back again.

lovely food, large portions. outside looks great for another visit on a sunny day. inside slightly dated and could have been warmer. took a while for the food to come but was worth it.

Booked at short notice. Very helpful staff checked if food contained Garlic before I ordered as I have an intolerance. We were advised that the sauce for the venison had Garlic but I then requested the venison without the sauce which they were happy to do. The starters were enjoyable. I must say the venison was so much better than a steak. My partner had the Boar pie which he really enjoyed. Desserts were amazing. Will definitely be returning.

We love the Vine but had not been for a while due to Covid. We had a lovely evening out with friends. As ever the food drink and service was great. A varied selection meant we all had what we wanted. Highly recommended

Fantastic food, we had wild boar pie, Korean chicken and rib eye steak delicious. Only had room to share the bread and butter pudding. The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming. The staff were were attentive and friendly. We will definitely be returning.

A lovely Valentine’s Day meal, beautiful food and the service was great.

My friend and I had a very pleasant lunch on 14th Feb. The food was lovely and good portions. I particularly like my Prawn and craufish cocktail starter Tables were well spaced and service was well paced. My only complaint was the room was quite cold despite a log fire. More heat please. A party on another table also commented on this too.

Beef was cooked perfectly, cheesy leeks made a nice change and the service was great! Would definitely recommend and return!

Had a very pleasant time. Partridge, venison were all very good.
