Excellent service, the two guys who served us knew what they were doing. Superb food, definitely not out of a packet. Great value for money. To paraphrase Arne, we will be back.

Again another good meal at the Vine. 4 of us had a mixture of food from the set menu and the a la carte menu, all of the dishes were well prepared, tasty with large portions. The service was again first rate, attentive and responsive. We always have good food here in very relaxing surroundings and we will be returning soon.

Absolutely superb! The food was extremely reasonably priced. Without doubt the best fish and chips eaten in a long time. Portions generous without being excessive. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely evening meal at the Vine Inn to celebrate our friend's 70th Birthday. From our arrival to our departure we felt fully welcomed and cared for during our entire visit. The serving team were so kind and friendly, while still being efficient and professional. We've eaten here a few times before over several years, and so we had high expectations. Thankfully, the food did not disappoint and we all found ourselves squashing in 3 courses in our bellies! I'm a vegetarian, and it was a pleasant surprise to have some delicious options at a pub known mostly for serving quality Game. My friends enjoyed the venison burgers, and the fish and chips was a big hit too. Very happy with the whole experience (even booking online was so easy!), and we will be back soon...

Recently came here for mid week lunch with hubby and dog. Enjoyed a lovely 3 course fixed price lunch menu choice which was good value. Staff very attentive and place is very dog friendly. We have never been here before but we will be back

Our meal at The Vine was a really charming experience: the food was lovely, atmosphere very friendly, and the service was excellent.

This is a family run pub. Food is of a very high standard. Game is on most menus. For the quality and range of food the price is very reasonable, good value for money,, and less than many other local pubs. I have returned again yesterday and had wild boar fillet with grilled apple slices, mash with lovely pickled red cabbage and pureed peas and pea shoots. It was lovely

Fantastic friendly staff, great service and amazing food… only sore point, don’t book via the app, it doesn’t always get to them…. Phone through… luckily they were able to accommodate

Owing to having an afternoon tea elsewhere, we only managed main courses (wild boar and scampi) which were delicious, washed down with a glass of wine. Service was first class, reasonable prices, and we shall return to try starters and pudding (which were tempting) another time soon. Thanks to all the staff for a delightful hour.

I love this pub. The garden is fantastic to have a drink or full lunch. Food delicious and very reasonable prices. Fully recommended
