Food was amazing and service was brilliant. There is a large variety of foods to choose from. It was a really good experience.

It was my first time eating at the Spoon World Buffet & Bar yesterday. I enjoyed the food I picked, thank you, but I did not enjoy the air inside the restaurant – there was a rather unpleasant smell evocative of a facility that hasn't been freshened up for a while, which made it feel unclean. The music was loud and the same style throughout, not everyone's cuppa tea. The toilets were... mixed! And not particularly clean. That was the most awkward thing for me yesterday. Considering the overall experience, the price was too high – £21.50 per person. Cosmo in Romford and Spoon Buffet in Basildon charge about the same but they are a lot nicer and cleaner and the smell inside was absolutely fine. I won't be coming back to Spoon World Buffet & Bar in Ipswich and I will not recommend it to friends for special occasions like birthdays.

Good food

I personally think a drink should be included in the meal price. It’s overpriced, but food was nice. Also the waitresses are mute, they don’t speak when sitting you at your table or when they take your plates nothing. I get most are young but no communication at all comes across rude.

My friend and I were welcomed into a lively gallery and seated on a comfortable couch. The cocktail menu was extensive and they had a featured cocktail at a great price! The service is excellent and cocktails delicious. I was also a fan of the 90’s music playing, I’ve been before and will definitely return. The best cocktail bar in Ipswich, I’d definitely recommend.

I ddnt like children running about in the room chaotic

We love it here. It is always great food, friendly staff and the variety is brilliant. The food is always fresh, the place is clean, well tended by staff and value wise….we can not find anywhere better which provides so Many cuisine options, which makes a larger party so much easier to cater for. We are always greeted politely and the staff are efficient, bearing in mind how many it can seat, you never feel rushed or like you are queueing (apart from at the door, but we always book which makes it quicker)

This time the food was hot, and hope it will be really hot Saturday evening. And can I ask for the lights not to flash thanks .

Food was ok, seemed half open which for a Saturday lunchtime was peculiar. Was charged for 3 people when there was very clearly only 2 of us. This was only rectified a while afterwards when the math didnt work out for 2 people and the total ending in an odd number. No apology was given with the refund. Service in general felt like we was an inconvenience more then customers. Food was ok not particularly fresh,dining area was clean and serving areas. However the toilets left alot to be desired. Would not want to be a woman in there with the unisex w/c and poorly kept state of said toilets. I dont think I would make the trip again, disappointing. Expectations not high but a bit of customer toilets and either separate the toilets or keep on top of the cleaning, ill leave it to your imagination but for a Saturday lunch time it looked similar to nightclubs early hours on a busy Saturday.

Food wasn’t fresh & hot Carvery looked awful so wasn’t an option. Prices have increased which made it even worse Cleanliness in general wasn't good Staff weren’t very friendly Don’t waste your money

Good food. Bang average service. Never been before. Table for 5 booking, before I even seated, card machine appeared in front of me without any explanation. Taken to our seats. Then left to our own devices. No introduction. No ‘this is what happens here’. Asked a waitress if we can order drinks, was pointed at the bar. Not ideal for a restaurant when you take small children .

Absolutely awful food and terrible service.. A party of around 100 Romanian guests came in and soured what was already a very unpleasant experience!!! I will never dine in this place ever again!!!!!!!

Food was lovely and all hot and fresh. Only thing that you might need to adjust for the safety of your customers with nut allergies. In the dessert section U have a section where you are able to add toppings such as jelly teddy bears and peanuts. However, they are very close and the peanuts could easily contaminate the other non nut items. I couldn't let my son have them just incases. Same goes for the cakes with peanuts being next to the jelly's with the tongs being used for several deserts so cross contamination very likely
