We recently had a work event for 30 people, the food was great, the staff were great and the ease of the booking etc was all perfect. Being able to have the top floor area was the perfect setting for our event. Would not hesitate to book again. Thank you to the whole team to help make it an enjoyable evening

Very good value for money , I brought some friends last night as a thank you , never been before , I enjoyed all the different foods , spoilt for choice & the wine & beer was good also

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. The food was superb, presentation immaculate and the staff went above and beyond to make our dining experience just fabulous. Thank you to everyone at the Waterfront.

We hadn't visited in a while. Prices were ever so expensive all round. extremely under staffed. waited ages to be served for drinks and entry. some of the items were unavailable. under cooked. and soggy vegetables and potatoes. seating was awful u were sat on top of each other. the atmosphere was loud. a large family were sat next to us shouting, unsupervised children shouting and running around knocking into us constantly. food all over the floor. the place attracts the wrong crowd for a peaceful evening out. we wont be returning anytime soon.

It was our first time, loved the selection of food, but found the staff rather rude and inattentive. We were not told how it worked or where to get drinks, there was someone (presume manager) regularly yelling at the other staff, and we were very briskly asked to "pay now!" As soon as we were through the door, not even a "welcome"! Deserts were also very dry and stale, but main course was delicious.

Good choice of food , deserts need looking at as not much selection thats not sweet apart from fruit salad , always busy in evenings and it closes early also and also bit over priced . But all in all very nice

Food is always so nice.Great variety to.Staff always friendly..You can't go wrong.But when busy it's rather noisy but doents bother me but might some people.But it's a family restaurant after all

First visit to Spoons in Ipswich, we went on a Saturday at 4pm. It was the perfect time to arrive as after 5 pm there was a queue at the door and more busy. Restaurant was exceptionally clean. large selection of foods, no queuing when selecting your food, seafood , beef, chicken, indian, sushi, pizza, japanese steamed buns, - they had it all. my only comment for improvement would be - please have more desserts. I did not see tiramisu and there were not many cakes to choose from. we will be back. excellent dinner !

We had dinner at Spoon Ipswich £22 a person we personally think is a bit much for this restaurant, it's very much a Oriental/Curry restaurant there seems to be less on offer than what is detailed on the website, at times you feel very rushed by the waiting staff taking your plate before you are even finished and they hover over you alot, we also saw 2 staff being reprimanded in front of us and told to go to another station fairly rudely by someone I can only imagine was a manager, its not got alot of space for wheelchairs as one of our group was in a wheelchair and found it very difficult to get around the restaurant to see what was on offer.

The only restaurant within 15 miles that actually caters for disabled people in my experience . Parking, tables and chairs suitable for disabled people, the food and service is good as well. So all good.

Great choice of food, which is all of good quality and hot. The dishes are topped up regularly as they begin to run out. The staff are very attentive and friendly. There is a good atmosphere, sometimes a little loud but this has to be expected in an establishment of this size. This was our second visit and I have no doubt it will not be our last.

Booked a table online via there website got confirmation and this email asking me to review so definitely booked got to the restaurant 5mins before our time told we hadn’t got a booking I showed confirmation the lady at the front desk is very rude and abrupt we’d never been before so had to ask questions about how to order drinks etc she rolled her eyes at me and shouted that till there other than that one rude staff member the food was enjoyable and lots to choose from

Had a lovely night at Spoons, would highly recommend, great value for money, staff was great good atmosphere, mostly ate the Chinese and was lovely will have to go again as got full and couldn't try all that I wanted.

The choose and quality of food was better that ever something for everyone first class service a pleasant evening all together

Lovely meal, great choice and variety of different cuisine’s. All food hot and dishes quickly filled up when near empty. Very attentive friendly staff. Will definitely go there again and would recommend to others.

Great food and atmosphere! Staff are so friendly always feel welcome when we go here, been a few times now and will always recommend as never had a bad experience.
