Food was ok just disappointed there was no curry on offer

Lovely setting over the waterfront, we had an enjoyable, well-presented and tasty meal, the staff downstairs and Manager were friendly and helpful. Service upstairs was pleasant and adequate, our bottle of wine was left in a bucket with a couple of glasses - similar priced establishments will at least pour the first glass for you. We were not asked once after receiving our meal if everything was okay. Given previous experience and reviews, I think this is a blip. Dessert menu needs to include all dietary requirements please, as staff confused as to whether these are suitable for vegetarians, the salted caramel ice cream I finally managed to get was delicious.

Our meal for 2 was fantastic. Food was really delicious and really good value for money. Restaurant is brilliantly located, really clean and well maintained. Only negative is it can get quite loud upstairs and that’s just from the bar below. Really enjoyed our dining experience. It was a perfect start to a great night!

Good food lovely place staff friendly

We have been quite a few times now to spoons Ipswich & we like Pretty much all about it, but the only thing is now the price just keeps creeping up & up so now when you add a drink on it is about £28 ish per person. Also would be good if you reopen at lunch times during the week as this was good & a lot cheaper

Had an excellent meal here on Sunday lunch time. An upstairs table overlooking the harbour. Food was very tasty and well presented. Staff were very accommodating . We will definitely be returning !

Went for my daughters 12th birthday and everything was amazing from start to finish. They bought the cake out, made sure we were having a good time and food was fresh and tasted amazing.

We visited recently to celebrate 2 special birthdays. The service we received was amazing, they could not have done enough for us. My child has additional needs and they catered for him well. The food was amazing, plenty to choose from, fresh and hot. Cannot wait to return.

Without doubt we enjoyed the best combination of very high quality food and exceptional customer service that we have experienced for some considerable time. Highly recommended.

I have now been there 3 times. I will never go again. The food was disgusting, the food tasted off. I asked for a full refund, but only got refunded for 2 meals.

I goog as can be expected from food under hot light But good value for what you can get and always leave full

We chose the venue for lunch to celebrate a colleague's retirement and were very pleased with our choice! Staff were friendly and very welcoming, food was delicious and service was fantastic. Will definitely be visiting again. thank you

A really good visit, my kids are selective eaters so wanted to give this a try. Couldn't find the prices on the website but it was £21 for adults, £11 for kids, and I was able to use my blue light discount for me. The choice was good, the good was tasty and hot, and the allergies info is clear. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Visited on Saturday evening, 8 guests all had a fabulous time. First visit, won't be the last. Even the teenagers enjoyed it!!

It was my first time at spoons so did not know what to expect I have to say it was great food was delicious and I can’t fault the service, staff very polite and helpful definitely will be back.
