Deers Leap – SwanseaProbably the best Indian restaurant in Swansea. it is actually the best one I have ever been to. Excellent food and all at a very reasonable price
Vojon – SwanseaBest place for lunch in Swansea City centre! Tasty, healthy and reasonably priced.
Govindas Vegetarian Restaurant – SwanseaIf Indian restaurants were owned by Indians then you would notice what a proper curry tastes like, chicken is never boiled and then added to a sauce. Curries cooked in 5 mins not a real curry. Ask where the chef comes from first before you eat.
Vojon – SwanseaVery reasonably priced for a central pub. Food was really nice and the staff were really friendly to my family.
Rhyddings Hotel – SwanseaIntimate, friendly restaurant with great service and a fantastic, menu. Nothing is too much trouble here and the desserts are to die for! Extensive wine list and if you're brave enough - ask for the grappa trolley! If only all restaurants were like this.
Vivaldi – SwanseaVery nice pub with a friendly atmosphere. The food is nice and they have a good selection of drinks. They also have most sporting events showing on one of the many televisions scattered around the pub including one in the outside covered smoking shed. There is also a nice garden with childrens play area. Quiz night is on Tuesday. i would recommend it to anyone and would give it 8/10. :)
Commercial Inn Giant Plates – SwanseaVery disappointing - and I am very disappointed to read that you only put positive recommendations on your site. how are discerning eaters trying to find a really decent place to eat going to do that if all your postings are positive? We tried to have lunch at The Salt Cafe on the weekend. We were on holiday, and feeling very relaxed. However after an hour waiting for our meal we got really irritated. And we were waiting for ONE HOUR for a vegetarian foccacia (which arrived untoasted) and fish and chips - not rocket science - to be served. They arrived as we had decided we had waited long enough, and the presentation and quality of the food was appalling. This was disappointing because it looked a nice enough cafe, and the menu looked really appetizing and modern actually. The manager on duty apologised in a completely apathetic way. The restaurant was only half full, if that, so we were expecting him to say that they were short-staffed that day, or something. But nothing. We heard at the next restaurant we went to that the restaurant is under new ownership and has had a refrubishment. It clearly isn't off to a good start, and we were completely disappointed with the service in many ways. There are few excuses for needing to take an hour to make a sandwich, nor were any offered by the defensive manager. They would do well to learn what customer service is all about and maybe their restaurant would be full on a long weekend.
Salt at the George – SwanseaI WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY. WE WAITED 35 MINUTES FOR OUR MEAL AND IT WAS NOT WORTH WAITING FOR. THERE WAS ABOUT 6 CHIPS ON THE PLATE, THE MIXED LEAVES LOOKED AS IF THEY HAD BEEN THROWN ON THE PLATE. MY HUSBAND SENT THE CORN ON THE COB BACK BECAUSE IT COULD HAVE BOUNCED OFF THE FLOUR. THEY HAD THE NERVE TO PUT IT ANOTHER DISH AND SEND IT BACK,AS A FRESH ONE.TEETHMARKS STILL IN PLACE.
White Rose Hotel – SwanseaNawab was on ITV wales on the some like it hot program, thought i would take my husband and children there. It was busy when we went there, will go again as the food was very nice. I would definitely recommend them to people i know. 9/10. is my rating.
Nawab Tandoori Restaurant – Swanseathe food was lovely and really enjoyed the atmosphere. there was a great little area for the toddlers to keep themselves busy.
Salt at the George – SwanseaI would not recommend this pub for something to eat if it was the last pub on earth, but the beer's good
Marquis Arms – SwanseaGreat local with a good food menu and friendly bar staff. Live music, poker and quiz nights weekly
Manselton Hotel – SwanseaI went to Castellamare for a meal with my boyfriend for Valentines, i had a cod meal and it was really beautiful. A great service and a brilliant candlelit atmosphere makes this fab restaurant a strong recommendation!
Castellamare – SwanseaHave used this restaurant for sit down meals and takeaways. Staff are very friendly as mentioned, normally have a complimentary glass of Cobra when waiting for my takeaways :) Food is always very good, lots of dishes although I am not very adventurous so haven't tried many apart from the chicken dishes.
Curry Night – SwanseaOne of the best restaurants in South Wales. Excellent food and service and a choice of menus for any budget.
Abercrave Inn – SwanseaDo not eat here... lackless, mindless, over priced shit
Salt at the George – Swanseavery bad service and food is over price for what you get.it was a shame will not go back
TGI Fridays – Swansea
