Stayed overnight, had evening meal which was excellent and breakfast the next morning equally as good. Service was very efficient and friendly chatty staff.

Been here many times for Sunday lunch and can honestly say I have never been disappointed . The food is fabulous and plenty of it. Good service and pleasant too.

The meal was very good. All cooked and presented well and of excellent quality. Service was 5 stars.

Another excellent meal as usual. Sunday roast is highly recommended. Service is spot on. Been many times over the past couple of years & it is consistantly good.

Sunday lunch. Roast beef and turkey delicious as were vegetables and mash. Didn’t like roast potatoes (not fluffy/crispy) or Yorkshire pudding (too greasy) . Very good value and liked setting. Outside tables and ground could do with an upgrade . Sloping tables with rotten wood

Had a table booked for 6pm on Sat 17th May. Lovely summers evening, the Alvaney was very clean and welcoming, and a good table was ready for us. Drinks were served quickly, and food orders taken. Had two lovely main courses, one dessert ( between us !! ) and some beer and wine. Very friendly and efficient staff, could not have asked for more. Our total bill was £52, very reasonable by today's standards. Would definitely come again.

We had a lovely meal in Panama on Wednesday night, the staff, atmosphere and surroundings were excellent. We felt relaxed and welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal which consisted of 2 dishes from a set menu for £19.95 and some of us indulged in the cocktails for £7. Thank you.

Lovely time dining here - we’ve visited many times over the years and it’s always an amazing experience - delicious drinks, tasty food, and great atmosphere. The waiting in staff here are always accommodating and can’t do enough for their guests.

Highly recommend The Alvanley Arms. Lovely location and food and friendly staff all go towards making the perfect location to meet friends.

After many years of not visiting I was outstanded at the consistency of this venue… It was mine and my husbands Birthday destination, sadly my husband no longer with us, I hadn’t returned. My best neighbours “ever” deserved a Birthday destination . They absolutely loved it, and so did I. It was exactly how I remembered with the excellent cocktails, and the fabulous menu, and delicious food! Just perfect… the staff couldn’t have been any nicer or more helpful. Thank You, and we will be back soon xxxx

Haven’t been here for years as we live 300 miles away, but fancied a trip down memory lane whilst in the area. The experience was fantastic. Warm service. Great decor. Most importantly, the food was delicious, hearty, full of flavour and great for sharing. It’s interpretations of international dishes, which is quite retro these days so nice to revisit. We’d definitely return.

As usual Panama Hattys was very welcoming,service and food wonderful as it always it.We have been going there for over 25 years and will continue to do so.

Disappointed with my over done squid order and a mixed grill order it was over cooked for my taste, I was asked how I would like it cooked, but it wasn't medium well, it was well done. Also one of our party was missing a bed of haggis from the belly pork. The service was fine just let down by the meal

We were served our starters (sharers) and he said he’s be back with plates, we eventually started without because they never came. We had to ask for another drink after half an hour of having empty glasses. Had to ask for new serviettes. Had to ask for the bill and then were waiting a long time for card machine. Food was good apart from chicken wings on sharer, they were terrible
