A delightful pub. It has a warm atmosphere with wood burner. The Sunday lunch was really good and the staff friendly (they brought me a custom roast chicken without any bones). There is a good play area for children including climbing frame and swings as well as a large outdoor beer garden.

My fault - I should have thought that the doors would be open post-Covid! We did have to wait quite a long time for our meals, but maybe this is because of staff shortages, and therefore understandable. Our waiter was very good. But I must mention the Tomasz' Brownie with chocolate sauce and cream..,..it's not at all a brownie as we know it, i.e, with a thin crisp surface but a very soft inside. This brownie is rock hard!

I had the halloumi salad starter that was delicious and my friend had the yorkshires also yum! The staff were attentive without being annoying. Having walked out of The Ivy Tower Bridge this week, this was something that was very much appreciated.
