Perhaps one of the busiest nights in a while as it was Royal Cornwall show weekend . Staff were quick fast and attentive, a pleasure as always Steak on a stone , quality meat and super salad chips mushroom and tomatoes Thoroughly recommend

Waited ages to be served, felt sorry for the girl who served us, she clearly wasn’t coping with the heat very well. The food was mediocre, had a lamb roast, lamb was fatty and chewy and the roast potatoes were hard and seemed to appear to be reheated. Definitely would not go back.

Had an evening meal in bar area. Helpful staff and good atmosphere. We booked on line which went smoothly. Very acceptable fish pie, my wife’s burger was ok but nothing special, bun a bit dry. Prices perhaps a little high but this is a lovely old high street coaching inn, open when you need it…early, to later!

I booked a table for my brother and his wife for his wife’s birthday. They said the food was absolutely delicious and would highly recommend going there.

Overall we were happy with out visit. The pub has a lovely atmosphere. The lady who served us at our table was very friendly and efficient. We liked that the pub was dog friendly. There is some rom for improvement on the food though. My wife and I had fish and chips. The batter on the chips was soggy on both. And the food was served on cold plates which is absolute no-no and a very basic mistake for a chef. The gentleman near us also fish and chips and he had the same problem - the batter was too soggy. He sent his back. We were too polite! The rest of the meal was nice though: good fish, nice chunky chips and tasty mushy peas and tartare sauce.

Ate at the Molesworth Arms twice in the last week. Food good on both occasions, and service was also excellent. Recommended.

Unfortunately we did not enjoy our experience this week. We waited 50 minutes for our meal and had to keep our jackets on all the time as it was very cold. All because there was a large group of guests in the next door building that were being catered for and we were told they could not shut the door as they were attending to the large party all the time. Even though it was a swing door and they could have gone out backward to push it whilst carrying plates. It was a very cold and windy evening and we were sitting near the fire, but even though it showed pseudo flames it was not giving out any heat. No apology and no one seemed bothered about our discomfort or our long wait for food. We were very close to just walking out. I mentioned this again when we paid and received an apology and excuses!

Fantastic roast beef. Just what we needed on a wet and windy day. Lovely friendly service and very accommodating with our 2 dogs. Will definitely be back.

The food was fantastic - really elevated for pub food but still at pub food prices! Staff were lovely too.

Had a lovely meal for 14 of us. Good service and communication. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the atmosphere which was really relaxed.

Excellent meal and service, as I am traveling for work i will eat here when im in the area. The service and food is always of excellent quality. I ate here on the Wednesday 25th Feb, the place was full of very drunk people celebrating someone birthday, singing at the top of voices and generally being crude and asking the bar manager lots of inappropriate questions. I ate my food and got out of the place as soon as I as could. This completely changed my view of the Molesworth, and I’m not sure if I will ever go back.

A good central location in Wadebridge town centre, but if you’re planning to park your car in the pub car park, make sure they give you the right postcode! Staff were friendly and welcoming, and my room was clean and comfortable, although the main room light was constantly flickering, so I used the smaller, side-lights. Food was tasty, but a pretty standard offering, but it was priced accordingly. Happy to recommend an overnight stay here, but probably wouldn’t stay long.

Went here for good before the comedy night at the town hall and wasn’t disappointed. Wasn’t busy as it was Sunday early tea time but was great from time we walked in . Staff member was exceptional ! On her own doing it all but wow so efficient, food was excellent we had roast which was tasty and good value for money followed by a gorgeous sweet . We will be back thank you .
