Quarryman – WadebridgeOur favourite Indian locally. Always try and fit in a visit after a film!
Bash Baagan – WadebridgeWe went there for an evening meal as it was recommended by the place we were staying in for its good food and ambience. The food was excellent. The menu was good and there were several fish specials on the board. The pub was busy for early evening mealtime. However as we were with a child we were stuck in a family room, which frankly has the ambience of a community centre. I can understand the desire to place families?separate to other diners particularly for evening meals to avoid disturbing other diners, but the family room is very much second class compared to the rest of the pub. Recommend but if you are bringing kids be aware the family room is void of any ambience.
Maltsters Arms – WadebridgeWe were very impressed by a recent visit here, cool bar downstairs with a great range of drinks. The upstairs restaurant has a great feel to it with plenty of space, stylish decor that features original large tourism posters from the 40s and 50s and a buzzy atmosphere. The service was excellent; there is a Lobster tank, which proves that they sell a lot of them and a good varied menu with plenty of fish. We had grilled squid and chorizo salad and a lovely butternut squash and red pepper soup to start followed by sea bass fillets on crushed potatoes and a rather large T-bone steak with frits perfect. The wine list was comprehensive and offered good value, the view excellent. We walked away feeling that our expectations were well and truly exceeded and we definitely return and tell our friends. Spot on!
Mariners Restaurant – WadebridgeHad a great lunch out on the terrace and went back a few days later for dinner in the restaurant in the evening. Nice menu and good choice of food - great views. Staff young and friendly. Good place to relax and enjoy beer and food!
Mariners Restaurant – Wadebridgeexcellent food, in a wonderful atmosphere, nothing was too much trouble
Granary The – Wadebridgewell i was recommended this restaurant by a good friend, well it was a saturday afternoon 1.30am i was the only person there eating, well i thought the service should be good, the food when i come was great but sort your staff out waitress larking about in the kitchen, glad i did'nt have kids with me,lots of swearing! its a shame because the front of house let down the pub!
Maltsters Arms – WadebridgeI have been to this restaurant a few times in its various names, "Hungrey Surfer", cant remember what it was called last year, but noticed this year it has changed again, Went there last year with the kids in the evening and got frozen out by the staff, nice meal shame about some of the service, went there a year later and had a wonderfull time. This place seems to be run for major profit and you will only get good service if the seasonal staff are professional..... I may go back there in a few weeks and try again. Or I may go to St Petrocs, Padstow, excellent food and service
Blue Tomato Cafe – WadebridgeOutstanding food and views and lovely staff - unbelievably unpleasant management - we merely mentioned we'd waited 1 hour from starter to main course: to be told: 'don't come back here again' . But it's new...
Blue Tomato Cafe – Wadebridgea nice modern atmosphere, where the staff are friendly and the food is good.
Mariners Restaurant – Wadebridgei fell off the ferry hungry and cold, only to stumble across this fantastic little cafe, instantly greeted with a warm welcome, from a very attractive waitress by the name of gemma, shown to a table, i quikly ordered a coffee to warm me through, followed by a rare tuna steak done to perfection, i sat there most of the afternoon watching the world go by relaxing and feeling no pressure to leave, which is a rareity these days. All in all a fabulous little place offering quality food and drink in a fantastic fun and vibrant atmosphere.
Blue Tomato Cafe – WadebridgeBusy, also takeaway. Polite and fairly quick service, good food. Best to go early in the evening and/or book first.
Bash Baagan – Wadebridgewhat a great place set in the lovely village of Chapel Amble, staff very very friendly and helpful, in fact we were on holiday for 7 nights and we eat at The Maltsters for 6 nights, fresh fish, daily specials and they used lots of local produce. cant wait till we go back again!
