The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenGood food, friendly staff. We were a large party and a bit cramped but all round a good experience. We will be going there again in the future
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenWe all really enjoyed the food , good service and friendly atmosphere.
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenNice surroundings and great food. Warm and cozy on a wet and miserable winters day. No complaints other than the time it took to pay the our bill. One more minute and we would have walked out without paying…
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenHelpful staff and that's a high point of place. Manager is lovely and was flexible about the table. Good beer fairly priced. Very busy but food arrived in fair time. But food was hit and miss from a bland menu. Overpriced when you compare pub is weatherspoons quality but 40 % more expensive . But good atmosphere and we enjoyed the night. Alcohol helped us over the mediocre food. Could do better.
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenVery good food great staff fair price
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenBeautiful pub, very clean, friendly and lovely staff. It was very busy, however we were always kept in the loop with our order for food. Love the dog friendly policy, makes life as a dog owner much easier. Food was delicious and well presented too. The pub felt nice and warm with a welcoming vibe about it.
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenVery impressed with the Sunday menu food. Very nice atmosphere And good service. Very friendly staff.
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenThe room was clean and had a nice view of the river . We had a lovely meal . The stay was just wot we needed and would go back again very enjoyable .
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenWe love eating here food is so nice and the staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them we will definitely be back. We had dinner here on Saturday night then went back for a roast on Sunday xx
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenRight in the centre of town, an ideal location as we were staying nearby but very busy. The food was good & a generous portion size. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenReviewer accompanied Mr Passmore who made the booking. The main course was Hunters’ Chicken: Chicken flavour good, quantity small, meat dry/overcooked, poor quality main course, over priced. Dessert good. Duty manager removed cost of one beer from bill. Will not be returning, will not recommend.
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenFour of us for lunch. Fish & chips enjoyed by three of us but one lacked mushy peas which should have been included. Hunters chicken was very disappointing as chicken was dry, overcooked & whole meal very small. Service was unattentive & sleepy.
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenSuperb pub, 28 meals, all cooked perfectly and arrived on time for my sons pre wedding meal. Accommodation fabulous. Rooms beautiful! Wont hesitate to return . Thank you
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenI had reserved a table for Sunday lunch for 4 people on the 5th October 2025. We placed our meal and drinks orders. In the meantime two other couples were seated after us, after quite a long wait we realised that both of the other tables were served their food before us. When we enquired about this they're reasoning and explanation for this was because the others seated were just tables of two?? That reason given did not answer our question? When the food came it wasn't as warm as expected. The gravy had been pre poured. Most restaurants serve gravy boats so that you can put as little or as much gravy as you want over your dinner. Unfortunately I had very little gravy covering my veg, so I asked for more. When it came to paying the bill they had charged an extra £2 for requesting more gravy. We also had to replace two forks that were dirty prior to our food being served. The food itself when it arrived was well cooked and mostly tasty, it was a shame that it was not served as warm as it should have been. Our waiters were all very pleasant. One more thing to add, if you expect a view of the river as advertised then just a heads up, there is no view. When I enquired about upstairs seating, they said that there was no upstairs seating for Sunday lunch.
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenHello, stayed overnight had 2 of the 3 courses off the Sunday lunch menu, couldn't fit the 3rd in but the first 2 were lovely thanks. I was a bit sceptical on curried parsnip soup but it was very nice, and had beef with vegetables, the vegetables being the highlight. The beef was nice but I prefer a bit more tender. The breakfast was very nice aswell , again the bacon a little overcooked for my liking but it was nice for a change.
