Much better third time around,,but still needs a little more attention to talking to customers. Lunch was not as previously advertised on Menu or web site. On our menu as collected from the restaurant included bread .oil etc and a pre dinner drink ,these were not on the final menu that we received on the day. A shortage of sauce on the dessert
ial Restaurant – WrexhamWe had a good Sunday lunch. One plate of food should have been hotter, the other had an overcooked Yorkshire pudding but overall it was of a good standard and value for money. Presentation was also good. The two meats-turkey and beef-were very good in quality and flavour. The apple crumble was excellent (but too big for me!) Service was efficient and friendly but not intrusive. The place is immaculate and very prettily decorated. We'll be back for sure. PS All the ratings below are meant to be 4.5-sorry but awkward to manipulate!
ial Restaurant – WrexhamThis is the third time that I have eaten here which is a good review in itself ! The food is always well prepared, presented and tasty. Lots of choice and varied so a little different from the norm. Staff are pleasant and helpful and appear to enjoy their work endeavouring to make every visit special.
ial Restaurant – WrexhamLovely food, a nice touch having items on the menu that are clearly hand made in house. Cocktails were well made. Staff attentive and friendly Decor is pretty, spotlessly clean
ial Restaurant – WrexhamMy husband and I dined on the evening of 18th November 2021. We were the first diners of the evening, so had the full attention of lovely Hannah, who managed to maintain her lively engagement with all customers as the number of diners increased [there were about 12 diners when we left]. The leek and blue cheese tart was very tasty. I could not detect any taste from the 'leek dust' and would have preferred a stronger presence of the pink ?shallots. I ordered venison, which replaced the duck that evening; my husband had the brisket. For both of us, the meats and accompanying jus were amazing and my husband enjoyed every morsel on his plate. For me, however, the two purees tasted only of butter and the 'alleged' parsnip puree was, particularly to me, disappointing as I love parsnip. Also, as the meat itself was 'melt in mouth' the combination of two purees gave the disturbing sensation that I was eating an invalid's meal. Apart from the perfectly al dente broccoli, I felt that the plate lacked texture. One pilfered chip from my husband's plate made a beneficial difference! The dessert of chocolate brownie was disappointing, not only because the usual accompaniment of 'Coconut Ice-cream' was replaced with boring vanilla; the brownie itself was too dry, too dense, too hard and tasted of oil. We enjoyed an excellent Argentinian Merlot making the total bill £73. I would like to think that, on my next visit, I will have a more positive gustatory experience, as one would expect from a restaurant intending to demonstrate excellence in its learning environment. Excellent for value for money had my main and dessert courses not disappointed.
ial Restaurant – WrexhamLovely atmosphere, food really good along with service. We will be back as ion.
ial Restaurant – WrexhamI reserved a table for lunch in the Iâl restaurant on 12th November. The food was very good from the lite bites menu but overall there was a very good choice on whichever menu you choose from. Food was delicious and hot, service good but not over intrusive. Overall a very pleasant couple of hours. We shall be back to try out the evening dinner menu.

ial Restaurant – WrexhamFirst time here and was pleasantly surprised the restaurant is modern and clean and the staff were lovely, very informative when asked about the dishes and wines, nothing was too much trouble, the food was excellent the chefs and waiters are doing an excellent job well done everyone, Sunday lunch is next in our list .
ial Restaurant – WrexhamLunch fo 2 . We had a lovely catch-up lunch in a pleasant atmosphere with attentive staff. Just a few helpful points for the future. The wraps we had were placed on paper on a log plate, attractive to look at but not so good when cutting up food as paper in mouth! Best not to clear table when one person still eating as feel rushed. When at end of meal and asking if anything else is required perhaps not to offer ‘do you want the bill’ we enquired if the table was required for someone else which it wasn’t and we just wanted to chat while finishing our mock tails it could have felt like we were expected to leave had we not inquired. Overall a good experience and would return. Well done students.
