Excellent food with the right portions. Able to finish and still had space for dessert.

Y Sgwar – PorthmadogLovely staff, great atmosphere and lovely beer garden right next to the river. Food was great and came out quickly. We will be back again when visiting the area.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWe have been to the vic many times over the years and have always enjoyed the Sunday lamb roast, however on this occasion and although the lamb roast was very nice myself and my partner were surprised that we only got served 2 roast potatoes each.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthChose from special day menu, minced pork pie etc. Came in metal pot and 90% of pie in pot was mash potato with small amount of mince ! Not a pie !
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthHad sunday lunch with you last sunday the staff and service were excellent and the food was amazing. Thankyou.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogWe always enjoy a visit to Y Sqwar. Quality ingredients, beautifully presented. Always a great atmosphere with very helpful staff. What more could you want.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogLovely Sunday lunch, was pleased to be able to order a smaller portion. Was served really quickly even though it was really busy. Will definitely visit again
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWe had a lovely meal - food was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful even though they were very busy. Will go back when we next visit this beautiful part of Wales.

Y Sgwar – PorthmadogWe have been eating here for years. Never fails to deliver whether it’s a Sunday lunch much or evening meal. Food staff and service are always great
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogFantastic food and friendly service
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthFabulous Sunday lunch last weekend. Both the lamb and beef were delicious and a lovely big portion of meat. Came with all the usual accompaniments which were also well cooked. Will defo return when next visiting the area.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthSetting is lovely and they put us in a nice quiet corner. Good points are that the staff were lovely and tried to be helpful, although all very young, and the food was okay and came out quickly Bad points, quite overpriced for the portions and quality of some of the food. £18 for a bog standard curry is a bit ridiculous. They had ran out of quite a few things and when asked about some of the allergy foods the staff weren't fully confident in some of their answers. No allergen menu. Some of the food was a bit chewy and dry as we were there towards the end of the day it was obviously not fresh. Staff started moving furniture round whilst we were still in the dining room and it was very loud and disturbing. They should have either waited for us to be finished or lift the furniture instead of scraping it loud across the floors while people are talking.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthVisited with friends - Had a meal one evening and then a Sunday roast lunch. Food and service was excellent both times. Hope to come again when we’re in the area.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthGreat food and staff very friendly
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogGreat food & great service again!
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogFirst class Sunday Lunch, never fails. Been going here for many years. Staff are helpful and polite. Food is always presented well and always tastes delicious. Always a warm welcome from Lorraine and David. Thank you.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogThe service was as always excellent as was the food. Lovely atmosphere, they were very attentive. The mussels particularly went down well as a starter. Will definitely be visiting again.
