The place was lovely, the staff very friendly and on point. This is probably one of the best meals all 4 of us have eaten and many years. We have to say it was beautiful. We’ve stil been talking about it for days afterwards. Many thanks. Great job guys.

We had a very pleasant evening at the restaurant. The menu offered us a good range of food, the service was both efficient and polite, the setting was excellent, and the price was very much as expected for this standard of meal. We look forward to visiting again

Lovely welcome drinks order taken quickly and shown to our table . Menus provided and also referred to the specials board . Lots of choice , food arrived quickly hot and lots of it . We both chose the Fish and chips . Lovely atmosphere. Staff attentive but not intrusive. Definitely recommend

We first visited 3 weeks ago and had a nice Sunday lunch albeit it being a little expensive. We're visiting our son in the area so thought we'd pop in for lunch again on bank hol Mon. Sadly the normal menu wasn't quite the standard we had experienced previously. The battered sole was a generous portion, but not amazing. The steak pie as ok, but was salty, I had to constantly drink waster for the rest of the day, not worth £17.50. When I've been to Persian and Mediterranean restaurants and get gorgeous lamb with rice/nan and good portion of salad for £19.50, £17.50 for frozen chips and ok but salty pie is disappointing. The chilli was acceptable, but taste wise was not worth £16.50. In summary, ok pub meal, however definitely felt it was over priced for the quality. We would come back for the Sunday lunch, but not on other days. Maybe it's because I'm more used to good home cooking with good flavours. Sorry, I don't quite understand the reviews that say high quality???
