Holt Lodge Hotel – WrexhamLovely local restaurant, tasty food and reasonably priced too! We will be back
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogFirst time here and we loved it! Lovely , friendly service from the off. Pleasing interior, and welcoming/comfy entrance/waiting area. Had the scallops, which were superb and bruschetta for starters, rib eye and lamb for mains. Too full for pudding. Food was really good, portions generous and the sauces and gravy beautiful. Nice buzzy atmosphere, around 3/4 full. Will definitely be back (and will be having those scallops again!)
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogExcellent meal, friendly staff and a great atmosphere- highly recommended.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthEvening with our two daughters and two grandchildren. The two pizza (home made) meals for the g/children were of a good size and quality with a choice of peas or beans. Two panini meals, a lemon sole meal and a ciabata with a choice of pulled beef or pork, chips and dipping gravy. All delivered quickly even though the restaurant was fully booked. Very polite service from start to finish. Good quality food at a reasonable price. We visit regularly and always bring friends when they visit as we know we'll have good food and a friendly welcome.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthNot quite sure hat I expected.. Spicy chicken wings were not spicy .. in fact quite bland Lamb was quite nicely presented but very thin slices which had quite a lot of fat on them.. (this was the early dinner and cheaper ) We arrived at 6.25 and had eaten our first course by 6.45. Felt rushed even though the place was not crowded (Tuesday night) Sorry but won't be back ...
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogThe hotel restaurant seems to be going from strength to strength, always a very tasty Sunday carvery and good service.

Y Sgwar – PorthmadogWe had an incredible meal at Y Sgwar. Food was the best we’ve had at a restaurant in ages. Service was the best. Wish we lived closer!
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogThis was a lovely discovery in Conwy. I had the cod, which was beautifully cooked and my partner had the chestnut and mushroom risotto, which was superb. Couldn’t fault the meal or the service. Love that they use really fresh produce. We will be back!

Y Sgwar – PorthmadogGorgeous fresh seafood. It was a treat. We got the mussels and the rarebit for starters. The rarebit was so yummy and the mussels were just supreme. The mains were incredible as well, especially the fish pie which is an incredible value for money. Will recommend!
