So disappointed tonight met up with a friend for xmas get together, food average, but service appalling. Brought the bill before even asked, told as closing her till. Then asked could we order another drink, to be told to go to the barOriginally when booked told Tom Jones night . Was no entertainment on and the place was dead, no atmosphere. Bar staff ignorant on how to serve basic drink!!! Told to drink up as closing doors at 11.15. Not the night what we expected and will not recommend to friends or revisit. Two very unhappy customers who have previously visited and had good service.

Absolute disgrace. Food cold, staff intimidating, never again. Beware.

Ordered large chicken kebab. Definitely not a large kebab. If you like gristle and mediocre kebabs then orange pizza is the place for you. We had to check that the meat was actually chicken before eating. It was but obviously the cheapest cuts. Tasteless disgusting... Awful. Don't bother.

We had excellent food last Saturday. The staff are friendly and attentive. Have been three times now, and never been disappointed. Will certainly use this pub regularly.

On recommendation from Sugarvine I took 2 clients to lunch. Was extrremely impressed with Spirit all round. Excellent service, food that looked and tasted first class at a reasonable price and the venue is a beautiful Georgian building. Will return and recommend. Great place to get browny points with clients.

Our daughter and future son-in- law took us out to dinner at the cotton mill last week, never been before it was amazing loved all the crockery (slates, pan for soup, blocks as plates,)amazing food will definitely be back soon Thank you.

Visited the Cardamon after work and found the restaurant very quiet. Staff were friendly, service was very prompt and the food, though a bit pricey compared to other indian restaurants in the area, was excellent. Waiter recommended other options on any future visits. Will definitely go back.

I visit here quite often and I always receive the best service, the food is lovely and the prices are fair too

Always good value -but the only thing that happens every time is the plates AREN'T WARM ENOUGH.

Great place to chill, coffee and cakes YUMMY.Staff so pleasant and welcoming. Dogs allowed outside. Gemma and Holly love visiting too. x

We are regular users of the Peacock and find the food always good no matter what we choose from the menu.Staff are very efficient and friendly.

I visited Dingle Farm for the first time a few days ago. It was a lovely experience the coffee and cakes was first class. The arts and crafts are lovely and competitively priced. I will be going back.

I have just paid £3.75 for ONE prawn beaten to the size of a side plate and covered in a kilo of breadcrumbs. The only way I knew it was a praw was the tail. Do not order butter fly king praw if you expect, as I did, prawns. I just hate being ripped off .

Last nights meal at the chetwode arms whitley was sublime . Beef Wellington the best ever I have tasted and the grilled fish amazing the chef is first class ,gourmet food at its best . Warm cosy and welcoming pub . Service excellent , the. Very best pub in cheshire .

Wonderful place set right in the heart of the country! Gorgeous cakes and fantastic view over the Dingle and pond.
