We often frequent the Spice of India. Would recommend booking to guarantee a table. The food is outstanding and 5 course is only £10.95 anytime. You can choose anything on the menu at no extra cost. Portions are big. The staff are ever so friendly, all in all its the best Indian restaurant around and once not to be missed.

Took my missus (big lady) here with our three mongrels (the staff didn't mind our muts being there and even wiped Terry's paw when he put it in my spaghetti, always the sign of a fine establishment). The foie gras pork pie was innovative and delicious. I would have loved to try the Chateux Plon D'Vie but waiter Giovanni recommended a bottle of Tizer to share. Overall, an extraordinary night, thank you the Daten.

The Hatton Arms – WarringtonGood beer but nearly all dinning capacity inside. Food really average but staff friendly. The owners are dog friendly but they themselves are dirty owners (don't pick up after their own dogs properly) A great shame for a proud pub to be so misguided.

Spirit Restaurant – WarringtonWe visited A La Turka for the first time last night and highly recommend it to all. The waiting staff are warm and friendly and the atmosphere is effervescent. I am not well versed in Turkish cuisine however with a little recommendation from the waiter (who was Turkish) I had the slow roasted paprika lamb. It was served in an elaborate egg/batter shell which rice and vegetables. I couldn't finish it, but certainly wanted to because it was delicious. My partner had the lamb mixed grill, which he described as succulent and mouth watering. If you like lamb you will be well catered for at A La Turka however there are good fish and vegetarian options on the extensive menu. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. We are already planning our next visit and can’t wait to introduce our friends and family to the Stockton Heath’s little corner of Turkey.

The manager is so abrupt and needs to go on a customer services course ...told me what i needed to eat because it was all you can eat.......left the restaurant before even having the main meal could not stand his attitude...although the younger member of staff was so polite it did not compensate for the managers lack of respect for his customers.....was disgusted with his whole service and attitude and will not be returning to this establishment ever again......thumbs down and i advise people not to go

Travellers Rest – WarringtonHad a very good meal with family and friend, you get the choice on the menu of fine dinning high class restaurant food and the traditional pub classics, the choice was outstanding and served to a high standard, the home made fish and chips is the best I and grandson have ever had, the service was excellent and the whole atmosphere in the pub was warm and friendly and very accommodating, we will definitely be going back
The Hatton Arms – WarringtonWe visited the General Elliott last night 04.06.11 to celebrate our Fathers 70th Birthday. I can honestly say that the greeting we received was very welcoming and the waiting staff were attentive and friendly and could not do enough for all of us, it made this a special celebration for all of my family. My particular favourite was the starter I had the tempura, and I would have liked to pass my compliments to the chef. The General Elliott is one place I would recommend and visit again.
