Arrived a little bit early but not a problem the table was ready. Ordered a drink before looking at the menu so a tab was set up. I had the hunter chicken lovely nice and most, my partner had steak and ale pie which was very nice. Had a Belgium waffle fabulous. Easy to book the table and social distance in place. Will go again

Newdigate Arms – BedworthThought we would try the Newdigate Pub tonight for a meal especially as you get £20 discount. Now we haven’t been to this establishment in well over 7 years and I will not be going again. Firstly the manager was extremely abrupt, perhaps it’s his manner but it’s not good. Secondly the meal I had was revolting and couldn’t eat it. Nobody came over and asked how the meal was, probably cause they knew how rank it was! Having observed the pub the waitresses are not wearing masks and the bar does not have screening. There does not seem to be any distancing in this pub, for example there was a queue of customers in front of our table and in the current climate we found it unacceptable and left.

Newdigate Arms – BedworthNice meal! I had a hot mezze as a starter - the Fatayer Sebanik, which are pastries filled with spinach, onions, pine kernels, lemon juice, olive oil and sumac. Vegetarian and vegan options were available. Previously I had the Lentil soup which was also delicious. For my main I had a rich and luxurious Mosaka. The okra based stew sounds great - that will be my treat next time!

Newdigate Arms – BedworthI came here with a small group of friends for a birthday but from the moment we arrived we were disappointed. Half of us arrived a bit later (I did mention this in the booking requests which were also not acknowledged whatsoever) and when we did join the back of the queue our friends told us through the window to come round which seemed appropriate as we had booked a table. But at the door we were met with absolute rudeness from the bouncer who wouldn't let us in even though we could see our friends at our table. He was so rude and patronising which started off our night on a disappointing tone. When we finally got in, the drinks were ridiculously overpriced and we waited over 45 mins for them after which we promptly drank then and left so we could go somewhere else that didn't have music so loud you can't even hear yourself think. Overall I used to like Bedford Street but now I don't think me or my friends will be returning ever again.
