Booked Sunday Roast last minute for my sons birthday. Excellent food, drink and service. Best pub going!!

Went with family 6 of us and a dog for Sunday Roast yesterday. Service was very good not rushed at all - the food was excellent - good quality . Nice atmosphere. All the staff were very friendly

We had a lovely time. We arrived a bit late but it wasn't an issue. The Sunday roast was good and the staff was really friendly. They allow my husband to leave his bike in the garden. If you're in the area, we definitely recommend it.

We had a roast and the food came quickly and was pretty tasty. Quite expensive though!

All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday roast. We had two vegetarians with us who really enjoyed the veggie option. The staff were very attentive, however, we were never asked if we wanted a dessert. It would be lovely to have apple crumble with custard on the menu.

On Sunday 13th February we had a Sunday roast at the Royal Oak pub. It was beautiful! I had the Pork Belly and it was cooked to perfection. The vegetables were done but not overcooked and the gravy was to die for. It was served on very hot plates which were a great bonus. The compliments also flowed from family guests about the beef and lamb as well. It was fairly priced for the food and service. Well done Royal Oak.

Absolutely love this little pub been going here for years it’s cosy and so so friendly lovely staff and clientele the food is always delicious and reasonably priced and there’s a great choice of drinks too. Perfect cosy pub for the winter and such a gem in the summer too one of my favourite places to go and so local to us thank you
