We were recommended to this restaurant by The Beryl Hotel for our wedding anniversary dinner, we hoped it would be special, it was amazing. A cozy and intimate setting, very personal and attentive service and food that was truly out of this world. Thank you all so very much! X

Flavoursome food well presented by friendly staff in clean and informal surroundings. This is not a stuffy restaurant.

Another absolutely delicious lunch - this time Goodfellows Special Sunday lunch. Goodfellows at 7B is our 'go to' restaurant in Somerset and we never want to eat anywhere else. Chef/Owner Adam's style and flavours are astonishingly good, and the quality and standard is consistently excellent and second to none, and the welcome and service in their elegant dining room is super. What more can we say, except we love, love, love Goodfellows Restaurant! Can't wait until the next time...

My first visit to the Olive Tree with my husband & was very impressed. Beautiful good quality food, excellent service with very friendly happy staff. Lovely classy interior with good atmosphere. Will definitely be returning & recommending to friends & family.

The initial table allocated was next to a door that was constantly being opened to outside causing cold sir and making if uncomfortable. I added to be moved. Was told only other table was upstairs even though there were 2 others still unoccupied on ground floor. Accepted offer but was concerned that on going to the stairs it was a spiral metal staircase and my mobility us not great. We were seated next to another service door which staff kept necessarily accessing causing more draugh and in general it was a lot colder upstairs . Service was somewhat chaotic for several reasons eg. Wrong sauce, had to remind them to bring wine etc. However the food was good but would not revisit, even though staff reasonably pleasant. Felt resturant was badly laid out.

Lovely welcome , staff professional and friendly. Atmosphere was relaxing and we had a very enjoyable evening. The food was just amazing so full of flavours just delicious and a very good choice on the menu. We love that you can see food being prepared.

Very helpful and considerate service and so thoughtful too. I had several family members changing their minds about coming with me but all taken in their stride. Food is good and not at all run of the mill with good selection for vegetarians. Enjoyed!

Such a treat to eat at Goodfellows, in every way. Absolutely superb cooking before your very eyes using the freshest of ingredients. Top class charming service. Very smart decor. Relaxed quite sophisticated atmosphere. Excellent value. A real pleasure.

Hello, this was fifth time one of us has called in for a Sunday lunch. Discussing when back home, we felt the 'normal' portion size was a little skimpy, apart from larger parsnips the quantity of meat was small and the vegetables for 3 adults was lacking and not enough. We also had to ask for extra gravy, again not as much gravy as previous visits. The food itself was of a high quality and the beef was excellent and tender with plenty of flavour. This review is comparing previous visits and Sunday lunches. We will return :-)

Just Wow ! Yet again we were wonderfully welcomed, deliciously fed and beautifully served. I'm really not exaggerating when I say that every mouthful had me closing my eyes to savour the moment! Thank you for such lovely food and for catering for our specific dietary needs. We'll definitely be back!

Enjoyed the atmosphere the staff and the food was very good but not excellent, there was room for improvement for the price ticket. Over done wedges to a crisp and small portions the steak was lovely. Desert was very nice.
