An excellent, completely unpretentious, local restaurant with clearly very good ingredients, a chef who has a deft touch and spot on, tasty food as a result. Trout teriyaki was zingy and complemented with fresh, bright avocado mousse. Asparagus and poached egg were perfectly cooked. To follow, chicken was succulent. Pork loin and belly were all you could want - particularly the melting belly with crispy crackling. No room for puds, but they looked yummy. Short, ungraspingly priced wine list with sensible options. Service prompt, friendly and efficient.
