Went to Goodfellows Saturday night for an early dinner during a wknd away in the area. Lovely restaurant, very friendly and accommodating of us with a baby. We had the seafood tasting menu, so delicious, all beautifully fresh and well presented.

We opted for the seafood taster menu and every dish was tailored to my needs. The food was delicious, presentation fantastic and we were looked after brilliantly. Love coming here!

We enjoyed a tuna carpaccio starter and then main courses of both halibut and also a selection of fish all cooked to perfection, with divine sauces and vegetable selection. Attentive table service but not intrusive. We were pleased to have a courtyard table on this sunny evening. Incredible value and a shining culinary star in Wells and the South West. Can’t wait to come again.

I had the sea bass and my wife had the halibut, both of which were excellent. The puddings looked great, but we had room only for coffee! The service was friendly and professional. All-in-all, it was a very pleasant evening during our short stay in Wells.
