This was the third time we have taken our friends there as we know the food and service are outstanding. We had a great evening and the food was delicious and plentiful. By far our favourite restaurant in the area!

We returned second time around to celebrate our son’s 7th Birthday and I can’t fault the staff, the lady made a fuss (unfortunately I didn’t get her name). The food is amazing!! That I will admit. The only reason I gave a 4 for the service is because no fault of their own, they’re rushed off their feet. Visited on a Thursday, there were 3 bigger birthday parties and most tables full, but only 2 staff running around visually stressed. The two staff that worked, worked hard and gave their all to make everyone’s visit a reason to come back. I’m not letting this rating stop me from returning and next time I’m in Swindon, I will be going back.

La Flambe – ChippenhamThe whole family met up again for a special birthday treat for a family member. We come from all directions so La Flambè was half way for us all. How easily all 9 of us were seated and from then on it was a magical lunchtime. Having been before we knew the food was excellent but last Sunday all of us wanted every dish on the menu so took time making up minds. All made the right choice even the writer of this note who decided on the hake as a pescatarian. I am still drooling and so are all the family. The veggies were superb with red cabbage, sliced leeks, carrots and broccoli. Desserts were superb too. Thank you to all the staff who were attentive and friendly. Thank you all for our great trip to La Flambè.

We recently started going to The Ridge for Sunday Roast, it is really good, you won't be disappointed. However, because it has become so popular and also because Pizza Hut is closed now, it is advisable to book a table in advance.
