So asked for 32oz steak and 5 min later manager explains it would take half hour and because it's so big may come charred. So I agree on two 16oz steaks..huess what over done and charred! On the next table a couple had been sat 15m b4 me and my partner and after eating our main they still hasn't been served. All but there different waiter/ess explaining how sorry they were and it a be 10 m. By the time we left they were still waiting! Guess they have a long way to go.. but what if I'd asked for the 48oz?? Our first meal out since lock down..4/10

Really disappointed, food was awful presentation, quality and taste. Didn’t inform us prior to ordering what they’d run out of which was loads on the menu plus they ran out of coke. Salad consisted of small piece of lettuce little tomato and one piece of cucumber. It was cheap but it definitely looked cheap too! Real shame as it could be a lovely pub apart from that the staff were very attentive pleasant and jolly just a shame the food let’s them down!

Food was awful! Ordered pizzas and chips off the kids menu for my children and the pizza was a microwave pizza and the chips were burnt! On my mix grill the meat was really poor quality. I asked for medium rare for my steak and it came blue!blood dripping all over my plate,mushrooms were swimming in grease and to top it all off while sitting there eating my food there were flys flying around

Food was lovely, atmosphere was chilled, they adhered to government guidelines and the staff were very helpful. Will definately dine here again

After not visiting The Honeybee since the first lockdown, my husband Ian and myself along with 4 family members, 3 of whom had already visited the Honeybee on numerous previous occasions with us, were shocked and stunned to see how shabby it looked outside. Grass long, litter and numerous tables still with uneaten food and crockery etc awaiting collection. Inside a repeat of the dirty crockery situation met us. Our table was booked for 1:30 and by 4 pm we were vacating the premises!!!!!!!! How could a pub which has always been excellent in every way deteriorate so much. In such beautiful grounds too. We have always been proud to take our family and friends to the Honeybee, but I'm afraid to say we will not visit again until it improves. I have to say there was another table of people who were also disgusted. An excellent pub in beautiful grounds has in my opinion "gone to the dogs". My husband Ian has separately emailed King Henry taverns also to let them know of the situation.

Very disappointed, we came here last year and really enjoyed it. However our latest visit left us rather disappointed, no diet drinks , j20s the meals that were available were over cooked and flavourless and table service was non existent once meals were delivered. Lack of stock not only with drinks but food and desserts too, this was blamed on the bank holiday weekend! The phone app didn’t work either despite numerous attempts. Very very poor

Been coming here for years and always had a positive experience. However, on last visit. Booked a table and had to wait as a family who had same party size who didn’t book were seated before us. Excessive wait times on food then when finally come was missing items bit couldn’t be bothered to wait again. For ‘table service’ Was only asked once for drinks orders and there was lots of tables around left with dirty half full plates. When brought desserts out didn’t bother to clear table. Overall really poor experience. Won’t be rushing back any time soon

Always good. Had well cooked steaks. Staff were pleasant & helpful.

Was very disappointed with service . I asked four times for forks and knives also asked four times for food that was missing . The pop was flat so that got returned and our waitress was rude The toilets was disgusting no had wash and no toilet roll . We have always used the pub and never had a bad experience before but this time was a different experience and one so I definitely will not be rushing to come again .

Food was ok. The waiter does need to learn. Some etiquette. We were still eating our meal and 3 times he tried to start clearing the table if our plates. Very off putting

Great to be back at the lovely Brasserie. Environment, service and food as good as ever.

As this was our first meal at the Honeybee after lock down we were pleased to get an early booking on the web. Upon arrival we were shown to our clean table where we ordered our meal together with our chosen wine. After a short wait the meal was served on hot plates and a itself piping hot too. The steaks we ordered were cooked exactly as we wanted and the meat itself was the best we have had for a long time even better than previous steaks we have had at the Honeybee. The overall ambiance of the Honeybee is good well lit, clean, with ample parking. Not forgetting the staff who were polite and served us well. If the steak is going to be as good we will most definitely be back soon.

Really enjoyed our visit. The food was fab and service was good too. Was our first meal out since lockdown. Thoroughly enjoyed.
