Enjoyed a fabulous meal here. Have been here a number of times before - though the changes to move the bar area make the restaurant feel much bigger and a whole lot better. But the food .. just wonderful. Service really good too. This is a restaurant for a special occasion.
Ostlers At Number One – WorcesterEnjoyed a wonderful lunch this week at Saffrons, in a very relaxed atmosphere where all the Covid restrictions were carried out to the letter but in a friendly and sensible way. The gin and lim smoked salmon was exceptional, as was my husbands pork, but all our food was very good as usual. We treat ourselves to a lunch at Saffrons whenever we visit Worcester and are never, ever, disappointed. If there was a higher score for value for money, I would have ticked it!

The food is excellent and for me the portion sizes are just right in that they are not overwhelming but I always feel satisfied. Great atmosphere and so nice to feel you are somewhere that is not part of a big chain. Just excellent.

Food and service were both amazing and my boyfriend and I had three courses each - all different and nothing was left! Also nice selection of wine and the port was nice too. Would recommend and go again.

Food was okay for the price I was disappointed a little with the steak and ale pie a lot of gravy not a lot of meat and the waffle to be honest was very hard and not even warm when served. I would try it again though.
