Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, all felt very covid safe. Great food and excellent choice of reasonably priced wine.

Saffrons came up trumps as usual! Delicious food, friendly and efficient staff - and all in a covid - safe environment. My visitors were very impressed. Well done all of you - and a big thank you.

We had a very enjoyable evening at Saffrons- the first time we have ventured to eat out for quite some time!! We felt very protected by their measures taken against Covid, the food was excellent and the staff were efficient and friendly. Well done to them.

I recently organised an evening meal for five of my neighbours. I put the choice of venue to the vote and Saffrons was the clear favourite. The food was very good and was served efficiently by unobtrusive staff. All attendees agreed that it was a very enjoyable and successful outing.

We have visited many times over a few years, with a few changes along the way, I always find the food to be excellent, high end, but the service doesn’t always quiet match up, with just some small improvements this could be a very good restaurant.

Food wasn’t as good as it has been,pepper sauce had a skin on it like it had been left standing,service was slow even tho it wasn’t busy,staff were friendly on way in.

Been several times recently. A wee gem tucked away... great food, and atmosphere good. 2 course lunch/early evening menu great value for money.

Our first time at Ostlers, as we were visiting the area on a short holiday. We chose the Taster Menu, as we were celebrating an anniversary. The food was excellent, but we found that some of the courses were too large, compared to other taster menus we have experienced in Michelin starred restaurants. However, we were able to be provided with boxes, so that we could savour some of our meal the following day. The scallops were absolutely delicious, as were the prawns served as part of the ‘main event’. Service was excellent and we felt perfectly safe within the COVID-19 restrictions.

Visited with friends and had a really enjoyable meal at Ostlers. The atmosphere was perfect - relaxed and friendly and this was enhanced by the singer who was excellent. Will definitely go again.

Absolutely wonderful evening, superb food and great wine, staff were brilliant and even with the current situation, I felt totally safe and they went the extra mile to ensure a fab meal!

Went during Eat Out To Help Out and enjoyed it so much decided to visit again. Pleased to say they'd extended the scheme themselves so still got £20 off final bill! Fillet steak very good just a teeny bit overcooked. Chimichurri prawn starter didn't have as much flavour as I'd have liked. Cod & sea bass main was very nice. Too full for puds. Atmosphere suffered a little as we were first ones there and service was a bit slow considering it was quite quiet. Will still go again in the future though!
