Had a lovely meal at Ostlers last week. Food was delicious , wait staff were first rate and social distancing was strictly observed so we felt very safe. Tommy was exceptionally helpful.

Lovely lunch yesterday at Ostler’s. We both had the lunch special, 2 courses for £16. Food was excellent at that price, salad & vegetables tasted very fresh & the sea bass was lovely. We will certainly be returning soon.

This was my 4th visit to the Honey bee and the quality of the food has never let me down. The staff were really friendly and made our visit special .

The food was AMAZING .... the service was good & the staff attentive and friendly, The only down side was the wine was a bit on the expensive side.

I have visited a few times and this place never fails. I just love it... from the little scrabble letters to the menu options... it's all just lovely. The set lunch menu is very reasonably priced with good portions! A*** Can't wait to come back!

The food, service and restaurant were all lovely, highly recommended. Having spoken to our waiter at the end of the evening, can I please urge anyone reading this review: if you book a table please do turn up, or at least inform the restaurant you won't be making it. On the evening we went, we were told 4 tables had booked and were no-shows. This is dreadful behaviour at any time, but during these times, especially when the hospitality sector has been hit so hard, it's shameful. We need independent restaurants like this to survive. Please support them. Thank you.

Delicious food and fine wine. Atmosphere was lovely and relaxed, not rushing you out the door. Highly recommended the seabass with prawn linguine.

Fantastic restaurant with a cosy, warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food looks as good as it tastes, the menu is not big but it’s got something for everyone. Portion size is perfect. Good range of drinks are available and good quality too. We had a three course lunch and it was a very reasonable price. Service was excellent and had all the required COVID-19 precautions in place. Wonderful restaurant would highly recommend, looking forward to going back.

Due to covid waiting times are longer than normal. Staff are fewer which also would explain waiting times. We booked for a Saturday evening we were shown to our table which was spaced correctly away from other diners. After 10 minutes our order was taken including drinks. Our starters arrived about half hour later which were lovely and hot. Unfortunately we had not received our drinks after an hour and twenty minutes a waitress asked if our starters were ok and if we needed anything. The gentleman that had took our original order brought our drinks straight away and apologised telling us he would take the drinks off our bill and pay for them himself. Food was good just a shame we payed the bill and drinks were included in it.
