I live very far away from the sea queen fish bar and I drive all the way from London to Rubery just so that I can have a bag of the legendary fish and chips that they serve.

Excellent value for money with very nice food. Nice atmosphere in a country pub, friendly staff and waiting time is minimal. Service is always consistent.

We have used this pub many times. i would recomend this pub to any one. Not the best food in the world but is above average. The pub itself is fantastic.

In my view, this is one of the best Chinese takeaway's in the South Birmingham area. The food is really v good and tastes quite authentic, esp the vegetarian fried rice, which has cashew nuts in it. The staff are also very friendly and chatty. The place is very clean and the price is fine for the quality of food. I will def return! Just one important thing to mention - this place is in Barnt Green, not Bromsgrove.

Walking into the packed restaurant we were dubious that we would actually sit down on time - we were right! Our table was booked for 9, we sat down at 9.40 and got our starter at 10 - we actually left the restaurant at midnight! The service was good but you get the impression that the restaurant runs similar to a cheap airline - overbooking and hoping that not everyone turns up! That said, the food was delicious and the waiters were attentive. Well worth a visit if you're not in a hurry!

I find that the speedy service when entering the take-away is outstanding, and the friendly atmosphere given is of exceedingly high merit. I would highly recommend the Happy Valley Chinese Take-away in Barnt green to anybody who wishes to receive a high quality meal for there money! Thank You

A decent place to eat with good deals all day every day! (meals buy one get one free) Good selection of typical pub food.
